bf50th-1The Light at the End (Limited Collector’s Edition)

November 23rd 1963 proves to be a significant day in the lives of all eight Doctors…

It’s the day that Bob Dovie’s life is ripped apart…

It’s also a day that sets in motion a catastrophic chain of events which forces the first eight incarnations of the Doctor to fight for their very existence. As a mysterious, insidious chaos unfolds within the TARDIS, the barriers of time break apart… From suburban England through war-torn alien landscapes and into a deadly, artificial dimension, all these Doctors and their companions must struggle against the power of an unfathomable, alien technology.

From the very beginning, it is clear that the Master is somehow involved. By the end, for the Doctors, there may only be darkness.

This is a five-disc limited Special Edition in deluxe premium packaging, which includes a stunning array of professional photos of the cast.

Discs 1 and 2 – The Light at the End
Disc 3 – The Making of The Light at the End (70 minute documentary)

Pinch me and pinch me NOW! This is every fans dream, oh let it be good and the thought that Tom, yes Tom, will play alongside the other Doctors! If theres any justice they’ll have a massive photo-shoot as well. The sadness is that though they’ll be there in spirit, not to have Bill, Pat, Jon, Jacquie, Lis, Carrie, Mary, Ian and Nick there will be the downer.

I know they have this ‘Destiny of the Doctors’ thing, but surely they could have a CD where all 11 doctors meet up, instead of just the 8? :)

big finish only have license over the first 8 doctors, and this production isn’t being made with bbc, just big finish

This sounds amazing, definitely getting this rather than the standard release! Although it could be a 3 disc adventure, couldn’t it? It’s just the same length as a normal Big Finish release… Anyway, getting it regardless!

This sounds AWESOME!, but is it a bonus story from the “destiny of the doctor” series?

    • Posted by: Some bloke January 9th, 2013

No, its a story of its own, made by just big finish, not big finish and the bbc

Destiny of the Doctor is a collaboration between Big Finish and AUDIOGO not the BBC. The BBC have yet to announce their plans for the 50th anniversary

    • Posted by: Some bloke January 27th, 2013

ok, i just meant the bbc because audiogo publish the audios under the BBC audiobooks brand.
