The Keeper of Traken Collectors Set – Pictures

The Keeper Traken Action Figure Set

Expected 15th December 2011 price £39.99

The Fourth Doctor and Adric learn from the wizened Keeper of Traken that a great evil has come to his planet in the form of a Melkur – a calcified statue. The Keeper is nearing the end of his reign and seeks the Doctor’s help in preventing the evil from taking control of the bioelectronic Source that is the keystone of the Traken Union’s civilisation.

The Melkur, via various deceptions, becomes the next Keeper. It is then, however, revealed to be the Master’s TARDIS. Its owner, still blackened and emaciated, hopes to use the Source’s power to regenerate himself. The Doctor manages to expel him and install a new Keeper in his place, but in a last minute ploy the Master traps one of the Traken Consuls, Tremas, and merges with his body before fleeing the planet.

Contents:
1 x The Fourth Doctor in Waistcoat action figure.
1 x The Master Decayed action figure.
1 x The Melkur Statue action figure.
1 x Master’s TARDIS as a Grandfather Clock
1 x Source Manipulator Sphere accessory.

I do I do!! It takes ALOT OF SPACE but it’s better than throwing it in the recycling,

I paid for the item, aswell as the packaging, the packaging looks nice and may be needed to keep the figures in, if my dad moves house again. ! 😆

well i keep the backing cards of each wave(obviously it was flimsy paper for blister packet figures). i think it is good because it shows what you have incase you forget you have that figure and shows some other figures that lots of effort went into!

I heard the news thismorning from me ma, who told me there’s been two episodes found of 60s Dr Who. I said oh ? and which ones ? answer: “The Underwater something” and I knew then it was the Under-water menace. 😀 not that I’m really into B+W era BTW 😉

I hope they can find at least 7 more so they can say their is under 100 missing. I obviously want them to find em all. But if thats not possible then finding 7 more would be an alright alternative

I don’t think I will be getting this one. Looks quite cheap (especially the clock)

    Reply
    • BOOBOO JR

      December 11th, 2011 - 6:03pm

In my opinion, the clock looks pretty much exactly how it did in the episode, I don’t think there’s much you can do to make it look anymore similar. Remember, these are only prototypes, and they normally end up looking better in hand.

    • McGann is the Doctor.

      December 12th, 2011 - 1:28pm

      True !!

And the thing that I though looked cheap was the Stettson-Doctor, worst representation on any figure EVER !! 😡 ❗

Wrong jacket, I can take. But wrong shirt and bowtie, AND it includes a sonic ? He never used a Sonic and the hat was only onscreen for about half a minute in that story !! 🙁 Lets have a Stetson Doctor from Wedding of Riversong !! 😀

well yeh i like it but i prefer them to do the xmas set do fig thats why i bought it at xmas on my series 6 shelf and that jacket and the tyrs ex docs shirt and normal head and stetson and sonic closed and then thats ok but i think it ed be good if they rerased the series 6 doc figs with xmas set jacket

i agree a cybershade would be a a good figure but the only reason i can think of why they have not yet released one is because of the cloak, but now what they have done with omega they may be able aceive with the shade.

      2. christina de souza
      3. stingrays
      4. gadget
      5. adele brook
      6 flood creatures

they did do a voyage of the dammed set and sycorax and rocnoss figures so why not do any from the other specials ?

i also thought donna from the run away bride would have been good plus donna is the only companion with one figure
