The Hounds of Artemis Audio CD

This May, AudioGO are thrilled to be releasing an original Doctor Who adventure starring the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond.

Written specially for audio by James Goss, The Hounds of Artemis is read by Matt Smith as the Doctor and Clare Corbett as Helen Stapleton, and features original music and sound design.

The Doctor and Amy visit Smyrna, 1929, in order to investigate a mystery.

The Doctor knows that something very bad happened there: something that caused a lot of people to die and an entire, magnificent Temple to be found and then immediately lost again.

But he doesn’t know what is picking off the archaeologists one by one, or how it is connected to the terrifying howling in the night.

And as he and Amy get closer to the terrible truth behind an ancient evil, he begins to wish he’d never found out…

Release Date: 05 May 2011

This story is AWESOME. Ok, that was an overstatemant, perhaps, but it IS narrated by Matt Smith, the Doctor himself!!

And probably comes right after the events of The Time Of Angels 1 and 2. Just sayin,

-own game and to skillfully outwit them. Yes, from watching Masque of Mandragora its clear that the Doctor occassionally gets the odd bit of rough house, but when attacked he can really turn the tables and get way not a scratch.
But the Doctor does not allow himself to be subjected to a pummeling as he was in this bad story, not when he is quite capable of defending hisself. That is one reason for why I deem the runaway train (which is named after a movie!) forever more the opposite of good. Now THAT is what you call hectic.

I dunno, I disliked The Run away train because all the voies had to be done by Matt Smith. And also the Ludicrous scene were the Doctor receives the beating of his life, he wont forget that fight any time soon. Shameful it was, for the Doctor to just be subjected to being wacked and smacked and thwacked infront of us and to actually hardly even make any menial (I dont know what that word means but it always seems to sound right) attempt to defend himself. Hes always been more than capable of fighting back, beating some henchmen/thugs at their…

    What is that font?

it’s good to see two cast members reading the story rather than in previous storys where they only have one person reading.

Hope that’s a werewolf like the one in “Tooth And Claw”. In the past there have been loads of werewolf-type critters in Dr Who.

Looks good…the covers ok but the monster looks a bit dumb
