Posted by: dalek eternal April 10th, 2012
booboo do you have the old classic tardis which was designed to go with the mego figures i have one in its box which i found in an antiques a few years ago for 5 pounds an absoulute bargain as the the spinner buttons that make the dr dissapear whe the spinner is spun still work and its complete although the two top door hinges are missing but ive seen some in worse conditions going on ebay for well over a 100 pounds
Posted by: booboo April 10th, 2012

I you are able to take good hi res clear photos of it and the box i can put it on the site if you want

Make that x1 Assault Dalek, x1 Dalek: The Supreme, and Remembranc Of The Daleks DVD (Gave my brother my Ironside for his Assault).
Posted by: Nicholas March 30th, 2012
Do you own al of the Doctor Who VHS Tapes?
Posted by: booboo March 30th, 2012
yes. all including the tin sets
Posted by: Nicholas March 30th, 2012
I have found the Master tin set on Amazon for £12. Is it any good
Posted by: The Monitor March 30th, 2012
It staggers me at the general disinterest VHS. I would never get rid of mine, and am a still collecting US and Australian versions; they are lovely bits of Doctor Who merchandise.
Also Silver Nemesis is arguably represented better on video than on DVD; not in terms of picture quality, but in terms of the extra footage integrated into the DVD. I cannot understand why Silver Nemesis on VHS is not like the proverbial and rather ironic gold dust…
Posted by: Nicholas March 29th, 2012
how many 5″ figures do you have?
Posted by: GreenAnchorRedWaterfall March 27th, 2012
Wow! I wish I had all of that! My website is pathetic compared to this one. I wish mine was as big as yours!
Posted by: booboo March 27th, 2012
what website?
Posted by: Doctors Apprentice March 27th, 2012
Just A Question – How do you afford to pay for all of this Doctor Who Merchandise – You Must be Rich!!!
Posted by: Doctors Apprentice March 27th, 2012
Because theres so much and I’m just wondering…..
How long have you been collecting for?
Posted by: GreenAnchorRedWaterfall April 5th, 2012
Well… you see booboo… I haven’t exactly finished it yet but in the future I will post the link here… it’s a secret… shhhh

Booboo – had to have a look here after you mentioned you owned some hardbacks – but wow – what a collection! My questions is – is there anything you don’t own that you really wish you did? (Dr Who related of course)
Posted by: booboo March 20th, 2012
A lot more from the past to be honest, would love a Danbury mint chess set (cant afford one but can dream)
Would like some more Dapol such a millennium Daleks but happy with what we have really
Posted by: The Monitor March 20th, 2012
I think that is a healthy attitude. The largest of Doctor Who collections appear, by the owners own admission to be no bigger than 50% of what is totally available 1964+. All collectors always have something to find. I recently rekindled an affordable interest by collecting permutations. I now buy any year/edition variant of a Target book, and that way, when I go to all the time and expense of going to a town or city, I come back with something. It’s a small win but rewarding, and better than coming back with nothing.
Posted by: booboo March 20th, 2012
I do need to thin things out, especially some of the books. We do buy a lot of new series items but many of those are for the site, we wouldn’t buy as much if weren’t doing this to be honest. i want to add as much “yesteryear” merchandise to the site as i can over the coming months.
Posted by: matparks08 March 20th, 2012
I think the one thing i’ll regret is the fact my bids at the Bonham Auction two years ago were beaten – would have loved to get my hands on something from the McCoy era – I bid on Ancient Haemovore, Kandyman and Ace’s outfit but just missed out on all 3 – I always wonder where all the costumes ended up from there. Slightly cheaper, but still quite expensive, I keep looking for the original Denys Fisher figures in boxed condition.
Posted by: booboo March 20th, 2012
The Denys Fisher items are beyond me, but i still look
Posted by: The Monitor March 20th, 2012
I too went to the auction. I bid on the Castrovalva masks but was well outbid. I had my mind on one of 5 things, but all went too high, yet there where three McCoy bargains. Two clown outfits and a Time and the Rani outfit (Lakerytan). I let my prejudice for the story (as it is my least favourite) get in the way. Possibly for £140 one could have got that outfit. I too regret not having got “something” (other than that room-sized speaker) just for the provenance. Here on in, I think costumes will cost too much.

You’re lucky you’re both into Dr Who… My fiance keeps asking me to justify spending money on (as she calls them) ‘little plastic men’
Two questions though, in the third picture down there is a gold dalek second shelf up from the bottom and to the far right with a different ‘sucker’ arm. Is this a custom, or have I missed this one from my collection?
Also, what’s your day job – I have trouble paying for this and the mortgage

Posted by: ShalkaDoctor January 11th, 2012
I love your collection. Love it. I have two questions from one collector to another. First, How long have you been collecting? Second, how often do you dust the entire collection? I dust mine about every other week if not every week. I will have to upload photos of my three rooms. One additional question, is this one person’s collection of a collaborative effort for the site? Thank you for sharing this photos. It made my morning. Cheers.
Posted by: booboo January 11th, 2012
We starting collecting new series stuff straight away as soon as it was released, before that we had just a few bits, some Dapol and product enterprise and a lot of books and magazines. We still buy older items as and when we see it to add to the site.
we tend to go over the classics every 2 weeks as they are on open shelves, the rest as and when really, the big Daleks and other items in the 1st few pictures are actually in plastic storage shed outside and attract very little dust.
This entire collection belongs to Luke the site owner – i just take all the pictures and do the articles
Posted by: Dwlollage January 11th, 2012
