I remember sitting down having dinner with my parents on April 22nd 2011 and watching the Impossible Astronaut and being absolutely shocked that they killed the doctor off in the first episode of the new series. Obviously I was overjoyed when the younger version of the doctor turns up and well you know the rest…

‘The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon’ is my favourite story in this volume…and my favourite story from the Matt Smith era too.
