By Clayton Hickman
Relive the adventures of the eleventh Doctor with this comprehensive guide to the fifth season of the hit BBC series Doctor Who.
Whether the TARDIS carried the Doctor and Amy into the far future, into World War II-era London, or the present day, the writers, actors, and directors document the production of a single year of the blockbuster series.
Learn how the Doctor’s costume evolved, how the monsters are made, and the trade secrets of writing a Doctor Who script.
With contributions from executive producer Steven Moffat, stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, among others, The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who is the ultimate companion to the world’s most successful science fiction series.
Due for release in October 2010

I think I am going to get these now instead of buying the annuals, they just seem so much more informative.

I saw this in waterstones a few days ago and it is really good. Unfortunately I ran out of money buying the Stratagist dalek! This is going on my Christmas list

It sounds a bit like the big book of top gear 2010! The brilliant book of doctor who 2011 looks so good i will probally get it when i have a chance.

This looks cool i am going to get it as it sounds like a good book and hope this is the first of many series guides to come.
The annuals are not my thing, as they are not for my age range, but as far as i am aware they are not made by DWA.

What an awful title. Surely in this day and age they could have come up with something that actually reflects the content and the age of the people it is aimed at? Especially as this is the successor to ‘the Inside Story’ by Gary Russell.
Still, seeing as it covers the making of the awful series 5, I’ll wait till its in the sales…

Soo many doctor who things for sale, i am going to have to save up lol

See, this is how to make an annual, can’t DWA learn something? Don’t give us puzzles. All we all want is expanded information, short stories and comic strips. That’s it. And a proper cover. Even I, a child, could make a beter cover than on the annuals.

Is there going to be another Storybook?
Or does this replace the Storybook range?

OMG can’t wait. I don’t think it’s the 2011 annual because I’ve seen the 2011 annual cover and it looks nothing like this one, in fact this one looks better! hope it has a sneak preview page on the Christmas Special with Rory and Amy
