The 4th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver

The 4th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver
Released 18 April 2011.

The Sonic Screwdriver is a versatile tool and defensive device first used by the Doctor in his second incarnation for opening up hatches, panels and controls! Later uses included cutting through wall sections and even as a conventional screwdriver.

During the Fourth Doctor’s reign, he remade yet another similar style of Sonic Screwdriver but with many more features and functions including micro soldering of circuitry, cutting wires and bulkheads and even detonating Dalek explosives.

In this great new release we present an electronic version of the Fourth Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver with 2 sounds and spring loaded sound activation.

Do you intend to buy the 4th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver?…

Well isn’t this wonderful. NOT! Once again, FP are expecting us to get something near enough the same as they have previously released. Third doctor’s sonic was released recently, do they expect us to buy this just because it doesn’t have stripes on it. There isn’t much difference, anyone who aspires to buy this may as well throw their money away…

Well it’s not exactly the same because the top of it is different and the handle is different because the third doctor 1 was slightly chubby so it’s not entirely the same so ur rong.

  • McGann is still the Doctor.

    • who crazy!

      April 10th, 2011 - 10:22am

No they were two slightly altered props.

      July 28th, 2013 - 11:58pm

Yes they did. The Fourth Doctor’s sonic had an interchangeable head. The head changed a bit over time, but it was the SAME screwdriver.

Cool, i wouldint mind buying myself one, but probably wont cos if it has the New Series Sonic Screwdriver sounds [ which i discovered from a Video made by YouTuber Batman March ] rather then the actual sounds then it would be disapointing buying something with the wrong sound effects. On the other hand, it would go well with my replica Tardis Key i brought at 10th Planet in Vicarage Field Shopping Centre in Barking about 7 or 8 years ago – http://www.otherlandtoys.co.uk/doctor-who-pewter-tardis-key-necklace-p-5195.html

If you already got the Pertwee one there’s not much point.

I’d like to see McGann’s or maybe McGann’s new one 🙂
