Just got my Supreme Dalek. It’s cool. Not the greatest. It says it has a light up laser but that’s a lie. The eye stock and the ears light up. It comes on a base which I removed so it could be displayed with my 3.75″ figures. It’s not bad

Mine arrived today too. I also removed the base and added some thickness to the underside of the fender, to bring it more into line with those on the 3.75 figures. It’s not too bad at all. I’ll be replacing it’s weapon, arm an eyestalk with ones from the 3.75 daleks so it fits in better with my little army. As CO seem to have lost interest in their 3.75 range… and DW in general beyond repaints and the new sonic, this makes a very welcome addition to my collection.

My criticisms are the skirt being more akin to the narrower late 80’s daleks seen in Revelation and Remembrance and the positioning of the speaker which means the back of the skirt lacks hemispheres. Also the curve of the head is a little too high. The lighting up is barely noticeable but then I didn’t buy it for that.

(despite my criticisms though I really do like it, well worth the wait.

Sorry about all the typos in that (wrong “its” etc.), comes from typing in the dark lol.

Yeah. It lies. It says with light up laser….. that’s why the laser is acrylic. I guess they changed there minds and lit up the eye and ears. I would have rather had the eye, ears and laser light up. Oh well. Like u said, I didn’t buy it for that. It looks alright with the 3.75 figures

I don’t remember where exactly, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that this would be the Series 4 / Series 9 Supreme Dalek.

Popping in to Waterstones later, they normally have these. Unsure if they will have these just yet though.

The branding above would have been fine five years ago. Maybe it’s just taken a while to get to market.

Or maybe the series’ brand book has been stolen by the Black Brand Guardian..?

      😉
