THE FIFTH DOCTOR IN REGENERATION OUTFIT
You can order this from Forbidden Planet International or ForbiddenPlanet.com.
Underground Toys are pleased to announce the details of their 2010 San Diego Comic Con exclusive classic Doctor Who items – The 5th Doctor in Regeneration Outfit and The 5th Doctor & The Master from Planet of Fire

CASTROVALVA
Following the events at the Pharos Project which caused his regeneration, the Fifth Doctor escapes with his companions back to the TARDIS. Suffering from post-regeneration trauma, he only narrowly manages to save the ship from destruction as it plunges back through time to Event One, the hydrogen in-rush that preceded the creation of the universe.
The Doctor then seeks sanctuary, with companions Tegan and Nyssa, in the peaceful domain of Castrovalva, only to discover that it is an illusory, dimensionally paradoxical trap set for the him by the Master, unwillingly aided by Adric, whom he has kidnapped. The Doctor eventually wins the day by enlisting the help of the Castrovalvan people who, although also part of the Master’s creation, are nevertheless able to exercise free will.
In this exclusive set from Underground Toys we present the Fifth Doctor as he appeared in ‘Castrovalva’. Newly regenerated from the Fourth Doctor, and still wearing his iconic burgundy outfit, the Fifth Doctor comes with a Sonic Screwdriver accessory.

i am going jodrell bank tomorrow so i will go with my mate who looks like peter davison since i look like tom baker and i am going to wear my season 18 costume and ill go with 3 more mates to recreate the 4th regeneration and i am going to record it and (hopefully) post it on youtube
Posted by The Whofan101 on August 2nd, 2010
i dont see the point of old doctor who figures, the people who buy these use them as standees. when they are posable action figures, to PLAY with! That is not true. I buy the classic figures, like the Unearthly Child 1st Doctor, and use them. Look on youtube for classic scene recreations and there are loads. Youtubers like batmanmarch, torchwood95 and dalekidea make episodes

will they still be selling this and the other sdcc set this time next week?
Posted by Chris97 on July 31st, 2010
I got two of these.
I made a custom using Tom and have a Peter so it’s sort of a Logopolis/Castrovalva regeneration set.
Posted by who crazy! on July 31st, 2010
Harry doolan your right it was season 18!
Posted by harry doolan on July 31st, 2010

Posted by who crazy! on July 31st, 2010
Well of course its NOT! when i went to forbidden planet today i saw this figure and it didn’t have a head or didn’t look like peters head was removable.
Posted by harry doolan on July 31st, 2010
the head is not removeable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by nesbitt412thdoctor on July 31st, 2010
These figures being limited number is not true, my forbidden planet is over stocked with coloured second doctor and cyberman figures, released a year ago!
Posted by who crazy! on July 30th, 2010
I like it when doctor who figures of the doctor have a little sonic screwdriver with them as an acessory.
Posted by james o’neill on July 29th, 2010
Too bad I already used the extra head for a custom “Fourth Doctor in Time Lord Robes”! (I wonder where I can get just extra heads?)
Posted by Jimbub123 on July 29th, 2010
HAHA! Good one!
Posted by the flaw games on July 29th, 2010
i bet everyone who buys one will be ripping peters head of and replacing it with toms:lol:
Posted by who crazy! on July 29th, 2010
what sdcc doctor figure would you like ? ooooooooooh i don’t know! Do you mean out of the classic series or the new series? My favourite old sdcc figure is the fifth doctor and master and my favourite new series is the orange dalek.
Posted by harry doolan on July 29th, 2010
ive just seen it in the box on youtube
Posted by harry doolan on July 29th, 2010
who crazy what sdcc doctor figure would you like ?
Posted by who crazy! on July 29th, 2010
No i am not on youtube and yes i would like a logopolis 4th doctor figure!
Posted by 1 on July 29th, 2010
they should have done a regen pack of the 4th and 5th

Posted by harry doolan on July 29th, 2010
who crazy would you want a logopolis 4th doctor
Posted by who crazy! on July 29th, 2010
I think it looks pretty cool even though it’s not swappable heads!
Posted by harry doolan on July 29th, 2010
who crazy what do you think about the 5th doctor regeneration figure
Posted by Anonymous on July 29th, 2010
this doctor who figure looks great can’t wait to get it
Posted by 1 on July 28th, 2010
i think the peg is attatched to the head not like tom’s interchangeable head which the peg is a part of the body
Posted by tc on July 28th, 2010
if you know what your doing you could probably remove the davidson head and put on a tom baker one.
Posted by 1 on July 28th, 2010
i got this today i don’t think the head is removeable
Posted by Dave on July 26th, 2010
No, they’ve been clever by releasing the regeneration version before the proper version. People will think “Ooh, completely new figure” and order this. Then when Tom is released in this costume they’ll think “Well, it’s his costume. I have to buy this too”.
If it was the other way round, people would buy Tom first then when Peter is released they’d think “Meh, just new head. I can pass on this”.
Posted by blob blob on July 23rd, 2010
They should of released season 18 Tom first, cause if the heads not removable, whats the point of a regeneration figure?
Posted by booboo on July 22nd, 2010
we don’t know if it defiantly will be yet
Posted by the cyberking on July 22nd, 2010
when is this on forbidden planet
Posted by the cyberking on July 22nd, 2010
i am going to get this too make a season 18 tom then if its gonna take ages
Posted by Restac on July 21st, 2010
Haven’t heard anything but wouldn’t surprise me, it will probably be a while though I’m expecting a Season 18 Tom to be released with a McCoy TARDIS, personally. Although, I’d be thrilled if they did single card him.
Posted by Charley Pollard on July 20th, 2010
have this figure wearing the boots from logopolis or the shoes from castrovalva?
Posted by alex on July 20th, 2010
i sent the comment below

is there a tom baker season 18 single carded coming out Haven’t heard anything but wouldn’t surprise me, it will probably be a while though
Posted by the cyberking on July 20th, 2010
is there a tom baker season 18 single carded coming out after this booboo?
Posted by McGann is The Doctor. on July 19th, 2010
I will say just one thing further, and Im dissapointed that this was not a fake afterall. What we have here is a complete waste, the Fifth Doctor released wearing the Fourth Doctors clothes WHEN what we could, and should, have had was the Fifth Doctor STILL REGENERATED but as he appeared shortly into the first part of Castrovalva with the huge Red Coat of the Fourth Doctor REMOVED and we see the nice pointy collars, the narrow Leather braces unnderneath the coat, but no. When they make the Fourth Doctor wearing this it will be the same costume
Posted by Renegade on July 18th, 2010
With this they should have released it as a set with inerchangable heads 4th & 5th it would be alot better. theres too many releases coming out to keep up with and by the time ive bought a couple they are rare and extremely expensive.
Posted by booboo on July 16th, 2010
Scarf is removeable yes. I think the image of the 5th doctor is an early one where they were thinking of including a cricket ball
Posted by Matthew on July 16th, 2010
booboo. If the head is removable, can you take the scarf off? And, why does the SDCC Master and 5th dr have a cricket ball (in the 5th)
Posted by Thomas on July 14th, 2010
It would be gud if they brought out a tom baker in this outfit
Posted by booboo on July 14th, 2010
Dont know yet, i don’t think we will even know if FP are selling them till after SDCC
Posted by alex on July 14th, 2010
will this be in the uks comic con?
Posted by Tony on July 13th, 2010
There are still rumours of a Delgado/3rd doctor pack ( i really hope so ) and generation crash set to come but that seems an awful lot of SDCC’s
Posted by james on July 13th, 2010
by the looks of it the head does look removable because if you look at the sudden change of skin tone from the head to the neck/chest you can see there is a vast difference
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
Don’t know yet until we get one, even then i don’t know if i will try to pull his head off
Posted by Nesbitt412thdoctor on July 13th, 2010
Is his head removable, because i would really love a LOGOPOLIS 4th Doctor!
Posted by M_L_D_WHO on July 13th, 2010
Peters head looks wierd and the skin tones dont mach between the head and chest it look to tall to be Peter in Bakers suit this is not that pleasing to me I think they could have done a beter job and if its just promo pictures the actual figure beter be well beter i’m not gonna buy this I would be wasting my time and if it’s not in the U.K. that would be dissapointing even though I don’t want the figure other D W collecters wont be happy if is isn’t. On the any WHO I would buy the Delgado and Peter/The Master and the Doctor figures.
Posted by alex on July 13th, 2010
AND EVEN THE NORMAL FOUTH DOCTOR WITH K-1 PART IS 19.99
Posted by alex on July 13th, 2010
TO 1
ITS ALOT CHEAPER THAN BUYING IT ON EBAY AFTER COMIC CON
JUST THINK OF TIME CRASH SET
Posted by The Doctor on July 13th, 2010
it looks like theve taken tom baker took his head off and stuck peter davisons head on
Posted by The Whofan101 on July 13th, 2010
Same here Charlie
Posted by Charlie on July 13th, 2010
If I buy this set, I’ll keep it in packiging
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
don’t know at this stage
Posted by alex on July 13th, 2010
will this be in the uk comic con?
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
I have seen better ones, perhaps i didn’t get a good paint job but its still worth the head swap, especially as i have about 3 spare now. i also think boggle eyed tom head look better on the original release
Posted by KORSAIR on July 13th, 2010
@ BooBoo As will I………those boggle eyes would drive me nuts looking at them:lol:
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
I have put serious toms head on the 4th doctor figure in the 11 Doctors set, must admit i much prefer it that way
Posted by 1 on July 13th, 2010
That would be expensive, as it will probable be £14.99.
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
Here we are, you don’t see him about much
Posted by talentshowdown on July 13th, 2010
Get 2 and do a head swap with the Tom Baker figure

Posted by 1 on July 13th, 2010
2nd one actually
Posted by the flaw games on July 13th, 2010
the first classic regeneration figure i hope they release more
Posted by KORSAIR on July 13th, 2010
O and it would’ve been a nice touch to have 4 and 5s heads
Posted by KORSAIR on July 13th, 2010
You’d think they would’ve got someone in their advertising dept. to photoshop the image
Posted by booboo on July 13th, 2010
I wonder why they don’t use the actual figures for promo images, or may be they have to produce these months in advance.
Posted by KORSAIR on July 13th, 2010
NOTE THE BADLY MATCHING SKIN TONES BETWEEN THE BODY AND THE HEAD
Posted by Lewis on July 13th, 2010
Is it going to have a forbidden planet release like previous sdcc collectables
Posted by 1 on July 13th, 2010
i wonder if the head will be removeable so tom’s head can go on it
Posted by Terrance on July 13th, 2010
Fabulous, and the master set is a must get
Posted by morgan on July 13th, 2010
