The tralier is quite interesting for the clips it shows us has the Doctor running away from SJ and Jo Grant crying on Sarah Jane’s shoulders perehaps Part One’s cliffhanger is like the one in Bad Wolf except something horrible happens to the Doctor and the kids and Sarah Jane and Jo say that they will get the Doctor out alive no matter what cost

I can’t wait to see the episode. It will be without Amy Pond and is written by Russel T Davis. So lets see how he works with a new writer and no companion.

    @Oli

i think he said that as a joke, seeing as he said “Damn right, i’ll regenerate as many times as i want.”
    not HE.
    I’LL.

Also, they are released the 4th of November, this suggests the episodes will have already aired? and Death of the Doctor is the third meaning the series must have started sometime before the 4th. October for SJA to start?

Hey guys, on Twitter, somebody asked Steven Moffat about the regeneration limit and he replied with, “I can make him regenerate as much as I want” . I think Steven Moffat might forget that rule then. But RTD maybe wants to make it clear in some sort of story that he can have more than 12 regenerations? Maybe? I hope so!!!

  15. Posted by: M_L_D_WHO August 23rd, 2010 Reply

and figure out that the nanogenes have gave him a whole new life-cycle. I think that that would be a good way to explain it or either if it is technology that the timelords used to regenerate and keep it to a limit because of the Time-War the technology was destroyed and the limit barrier is gone so the Doctor will live for-ever. What do you think about my reasons ?

    • Posted by: Commander Strax October 26th, 2011

your right because river gave all her rimaning regenarasons [sorry for the spelling] to the dr

  16. Posted by: M_L_D_WHO August 23rd, 2010 Reply

About the whole regeneration thing although the timelords normally have 12 regenerations and 13 incarnations in something I read I can’t remember what it was but it said that Steven Moffat or who-ever is the head of Doctor Who said that he has no interest in keeping to that limit. YES.

How I think they’ll explain it-
I think to explain why he doesn’t die at the end of his 13th regeneration the Doctor will go back to the moment when the nanogenes healed him in his 9th incarnation (watch THE EMPTY CHILD/THE DOCTOR DANCES) TBC

  17. Posted by: Thomas Amor August 23rd, 2010 Reply

Maybe this story concentrates on the idea of the Doctor becoming aware of the differences between himself and his third and fourth incarnations. Jo Grant makes an appearance in this episode which may cause the Doctor to go over his memories of his past.If so the story’s title, “Death of the Doctor”, would be from the Eleventh Doctor’s perspective. This is my theory

matt smith looks sexy on the cover

i so can’t wait to see jo and the doctor

  37. Posted by: Juddon Platoon August 21st, 2010 Reply

Or Jo is coming back in this because maybe her and Sarah Jane will be in the DW finale of the next series

  38. Posted by: Calum Smith August 21st, 2010 Reply

The monster in this episode is called the Shansheeth, this was confirmed in Doctor Who Magazine 424, when the titles were confirmed. They are vulture-like creatures who feed from something (yet to be confirmed).

This maybe Jo Grant. I think it will be! Why would Jo come back at such a funny time (funny as in – funny – weird).

    OMG! Lol!

  44. Posted by: Jaketor Who August 21st, 2010 Reply

i cant wait for this tweo parter its gonna be great.i wonder if Amy and Rory are in the epsiode aswell.

My ideas of what this episode will be. the doctor takes amy and rory to a place of relaxation for there honeymoon. and in his bordem of being alone he pays a visit to Sarah Jane to show her his new self. but when he arrives Sarah Jane has a visitor Jo Grant. and the vulture creature thing looks to me like a human tranformation so maybe its Jo.

What does anyone think then!!!!

  53. Posted by: Alex August 21st, 2010 Reply

Why do they keep making titles with misleading names? It really annoys me how they keep lying or giving false pretences. “Victory of the Daleks”. They ran away. WTH. “End of time”. Wow not much happened. “Death of the Doctor”. Yeah right kill him off you kill the entire franchise, just a ploy to attract more consumers.

  54. Posted by: K9 August 20th, 2010 Reply

Great you have put the covers up, that’s a vulture i think

  55. Posted by: C@A August 20th, 2010 Reply
