Royal Mint 2010 Doctor Who Medals

Royal Mint 2010 Doctor Who Medals

The Royal Mint has announced a new range of 2010 Doctor Who collectable Medals including images of Daleks, smilers and weeping angels.

To celebrate the new Doctor Who series and the arrival of the new race of Daleks, BBC Worldwide and the Royal Mint teamed up to create this amazing new Doctor Who collectable medal. Each medal is presented in a colourful gift card containing information relevant to the character while the pop–in blister allows you to examine both sides of the collectable.

The new Doctor, his Dalek archenemies and the new Monsters are teamed with the Tardis on these gleaming Brilliant Uncirculated medals. Each medal is housed on a presentation card, with information on the character, and is an ideal gift for all ages. They are sure to attract the attention of the Doctor’s thousands of fans as well as medal collectors, and although perfect as an individual gift, a set of three would delight any enthusiast.

All the new medals are priced at £5.99 + post and packing. you can find full details on the Royal Mint website Here

I would get a Smiler one. Am I correct in saying theres going to be ANOTHER release of the Sinister, order-restoring Grinning Robots? The Smilers, with a proper interchangable head this time?! ❓

I was mega dissapointed when I found out that CO had screwed us over and totally let us down by actually releasing a Smiler robot, that doesnt even smile?! They can easily have given it a turing, changing face, that would have been the icing on the cake. Speaking of whihc, a cake without icing is pointless, so I wouldnt even have bought it. WASTE!
