Solonian Mutant

From ‘The Mutants’ 1972

“Already the pollution is causing mutations. The Mutts, as the Marshal calls them. Mutts!”

We at Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail.

Our extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!

  • A Limited Edition Hand painted figurine / statue from the Doctor Who Collection.
  • Designed and Sculpted in Shropshire, England by Robert Harrop Designs.
  • Traditionally Hand Sculpted by Mike Rogers.
  • Official BBC License. The figurine has been approved by the Doctor Who television production team at the BBC.
  • Approximately 6.6 inches (165mm) tall
  • A Limited Edition of Only 200 Figurines Worldwide.
  • Solid pewter hands and mandible for strength.
  • Individually hand numbered with a unique number on the base.
  • Comes complete in a presentation box with information card and a Certificate of Authenticity!

In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.

As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

They are not cheap figures but they are worth the last euro they cost. In my opinion they are of excellent quality and it is impossible not to be fascinated by looking at the details.

Can’t wait to see the finished painted sculpt of Morbius. Wonder if any Series 11 / 12 figures are planned ?

    This looks cool.

Hmmm, I’ve noticed a trends where Harrop and Eaglemoss tend to release the same figures at the same time, so I wonder if DWFC 150 could be the Solonian mutant, it would fit the blanked out space in their preview pictuire …. be cool if it was 😀

The eaglemoss stuff is fine but these are vastly more superior for the extra money,in my view especially where the monsters are concerned. I just wish they could release a few extra per Year.

Totally agree, I’m always left wanting more. Much preferred it when they’d send us 4 at anyone time, the 1 then wait months is painfully slow…, worth the wait but definitely want more.

I’m not a huge fan of Harrops figures, I wouldn’t say they are far superior to Eaglemoss, for the price they cost I would expect them to be more screen accurate rather than a caricature.

Alvin have you actually held any of the figures or looked up close at them ‘cos you must be looking at different stuff to me …..

They are very nicely detailed & in my opinion pictures don’t do them justice, doctors aside they are very much spot on.

The Clockwork soldier from Mind Robber was outstanding just what I want A1 quality replicas of the little seen classic ‘monsters’.

They are far from caricature. The detail is as good as you can get for a figurine at that price.

Omega must be scheduled – Harrops held a poll on their facebook page to see which version people preferred earlier this year.

Which did they plump for? The three doctors one no doubt.

Yes as expected…hopefully it wont preclude the ‘Arc’…version later on…a Gellguard would go nicely with the three Doctors version as several people commented.

They normally do 250-300 pieces. So i,d definitely get my order in sooner rather than miss out.

The monsters are always immaculate, the attention to detail is amazing as ever. Morbius next i believe. I,d love them to do an exclusive of The Gods of Ragnarok or the rights to The Rights to The Kandyman.
