Robert Harrop Cybermats The Tomb of the Cybermen

Available to order while stocks last from www.robertharrop.com

We at Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail. Our extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!

In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.

As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

  • A Limited Edition Hand painted figurine / statue from the Doctor Who Collection.
  • Designed, Sculpted and Made in Shropshire, England by Robert Harrop Designs.
  • Traditionally Hand Sculpted by Mike Rodgers.
  • Official BBC License. The figurine has been approved by the Doctor Who television production team at the BBC
  • Approximately 4.8 inches (123mm) tall.
  • A Limited Edition of Only 250 Figurines Worldwide.
  • Individually hand numbered with a unique number on the base.

Only just noticed the size of this, it’s TINY.
Just been browsing Robert Harrops site. If you look at the photo with the statue, box and certificate in the same shot, you can see the statue is only slightly larger than the certificate of authenticity.

Got mine this morning. Be very careful with those antennae when your removing from the box (It does actually warn you inside the lid of the box) they are so flimsy. I thought they might have been made with some thicker wire or a bendy rubbery sort of material. Luckily mine came out ok.

I have reduced the price of the Harrop figurine , I really hope it helps a collector and not a buyer seller.

We keep getting tomb stuff. Is this the last one or is there more from the story that they can make. I thought the Cyber-controller was the last they could do (although I never thought of a door being turned into a model)

Yes this is the last Tomb release. The next release will be a Sycorax for their annual Christmas piece.

A Tractator and Terileptil have been announced for next year too.

Thats breaking news. Where did u get that from? Don,t get me wrong its more than welcome and i,m definitely there. We need more great Individual pieces out like that and more often. I,d be happy at a crossover at one a month.

The Sycorax and Tractator were announced on one of Robert Harrop’s posts about the Cybermat piece (I cant recall exactly which post but I’m sure it was posted multiple times in response to questions about next year so if you’re on Facebook I don’t think it would be too hard to find) & the Terileptil was announced on a post in the Harrop Doctor Who Facebook group ( Dan mentioned he’d been looking at Terileptils and had ordered The Visitation DVD)

Mr P, a couple of years have passed and theirs still no sign of that Terileptil that was going to be released. I wonder what happened to it and if theirs anyway of finding out from Dan?

Check to make sure your Friends of Harrop membership is up to date. It expires after a year and would need to be renewed. There should be guidance on the Friends of Harrop link near the top of their web page.

Yes. The listing originally went up without the discount added – it has been corrected now. I sent them a message and they refunded the discount promptly so anyone else who ordered before the listing changed should send them a message.
