    Why don’t they release bloopers?

Is it really realistic of an idea for Series 3-8 to be released on Steelbook now?

Plus, I don’t have Series 9, but I still *could* get Series 10. But urrgghhh it’s so cheap.

Well from what I’ve heard the general consensus seems to be that while Series 3 hasn’t been commissioned as a Steelbook yet, that may only be because they want to be the Shada and Series 10 releases out of the way First, which makes sense because there’s no point of the BBC releasing three new things at the same time and then having nothing else to release for a while.

I reckon that we’ll probably get an announcement for Series 3 at some point in the new year and then it’ll be out around February/March time.

      Thanks for the info.

I’d hope they do a big rerelease batch of every Series next year on steel book for new fans who may be driven in by Series 11. I don’t have Series 1-7 on Blu-ray so all of those will be worth buying for me, even if it is double dipping some case triple.

Also, I really hope they re-release Series 9 and 10 again on steelbook with he old logo next year since the rebrand will occur. It just seems slightly unfair to make 8 steel books when people didn’t buy Series 9 because the other Series weren’t on steelbook at the timr

Series 9 “deals” are poor. The DVD version is available to buy for less from Amazon’s own marketplace and has been for a while.

They’ve added £9 to the price of Power since yesterday (I know this as I ordered it) so it’s hardly a bargain. It would also be illegal for a physical shop to increase the price and then decrease it and call it a sale. You have to sell it for the higher price for a longer period of time than you do the lower price. As soon as it has been at the lower price for the same length of time or longer as it was the higher price you are no longer allowed to call it a sale item.

It’s still wrong; they’re going to make the offer look better than it actually is. That’s why I never really trust these sales. I always keep a good eye on the things I want and when they actually go down in price I tend to buy them. I don’t appreciate companies trying to fool me (or others) into thinking something is a better deal than it is.
