Over here in America it is usually only $20-$30 whereas most sets with only 1 figure is almost in he $100s.

I wish you could get these in Australia! I love these 60’s cyberman the best! Even on eBay for Australia dollars it $80-$100! And I’m not buying 3 figures for $100!

Now, couldn’t you simply buy them off of the English buyers, for a cheaper price, and simply worry about the postage cost? Sorry, I’m English myself so I don’t really know how it all works, but I have bought things from other countries cheaper on eBay.

Not completley relevant but, I just realised I bought my Character Building 11 Doctors figure set from a B&M store when on holiday in Weymouth. It was on sale, and the box was battered, and the last one in store, I got it for £6 odd, which I think is cheap for such an item, right? I always thought B&M was like an expensive Poundland but it’s so much better!

Yeah! I was so happy when I saw it in there, I’d only gone in because I wanted to buy a drink but then I got lost, because I had never been in there before, and found it! It didn’t have a price tag so I just ran to the till with it. I also got some Angry Bird keychains there for about a £1 each. Hahaha!

During a recent Teacher Training Day, I went to the 2 closest b&ms in my city, and i know that this has nothing whatsoever to do w/ this topic, but a woman stood behind me and JUDGED ME. She said, kids don’t like Doctor Who no more, look at this boy, and went down the isle laughing with her friend… – 😡 Someone reply to me if you think that us kids still enjoy the “teatime” series. 😉

On the one hand, every time I take things to the recycling centre, I see Who items, and at car boot sales, every 3rd table has a Who item. However just because a few people are getting rid of a few basic things high volume pieces does not mean that “no kids” like it.

Personally, I don’t see it as a programme for kids, but as a tribute to all those who supported the merchandise companies up to 2004, which demonstrated that DW is a major “cash cow”; had us older fans not bought merchandise from the 1970s onwards, there would be no Who today.

I walked into B&M in East Kilbride, Scotland yesterday to see one of the best displays of limited products there. Not only did I see these two sets but also the 9th/10th doctors sonic screwdriver -which I’s been looking for for ages- for only £7. A great trip if anyone’s around those parts
