Radio Times Doctor Who -The Companions

The Radio Times have treated Doctor Who fans to yet another brilliant addition to their growing range of Doctor Who products. The souvenir book sold out very quickly and is now much sought after and more recently the stunning 3D posters went on sale. Now we have “The Companions”.

If you thought this book might be dominated by the new series then you are in for a pleasant surprise, yes they are all there including the likes of Jackson Lake and River Song – this book doesn’t limit things to the main companions, and the same applies to the classic series, from Mike Yates to kamelion – no one is forgotten.

The companions are represented in alphabetical order with wright-ups on each of them and the Doctor they travelled with (who would ever have thought we would see in words – Jo Grant 1971-74 Jon Pertwee – 2010 Matt Smith). There are numerous quotes and memorable moments including “in their own words” features from various radio Times editions over the years.

It contains some terrific images in full colour and black and white from some of the early William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton stories – and that’s where this book really wins – in the quailty and quantity of the images, and its also bang up to date with pictures from The Sarah Jane Adventures story Death of the Doctor.

Another excellent product in what we hope will be along line of many.

We highly recommend you order your copy now.

I tried repeatedly to order online, but when I clicked on “proceed to payment” I kept getting the message: “There was an error in processing your form. Please enter your initials and surname.” I had entered that information. The only things left blank were Subscriber # (because I’m not) & mobile phone (because I don’t have one). In included my home number and email. Why won’t it let me proceed to payment??? Please help solve this problem.

Omega, yes, I do like the glossiness of that outfit, but what I meant was, they keep on printing pictures of Amy in that outfit. For example:
    Radio Times:The companion bookazine
The front of the Radio Times the week The Pandorica Opens aired
On the first page of It’s About Time feature the week The Eleventh Hour aired
Series 5 Volume 4 DVD (On the back, it says: DOctor and Amy image coutesy of Radio Times)
So as you can see, Amy in that outfit has been publicised a lot in the Radio Times. I think that outfit is from The Vampires of…
