Pyramids of Mars Priory Set

In this Fourth Doctor adventure, the TARDIS materialises on Earth in the year 1911 inside an old priory owned by Egyptologist Marcus Scarman. Scarman has been possessed by Sutekh, last survivor of the god-like Osirans, who is being held prisoner inside a pyramid in Egypt by a signal transmitted from a pyramid on Mars.

Sutekh wants to be free and instructs Scarman to use robots, which look like Egyptian mummies, to build a pyramid-shaped rocket with which to destroy the Martian pyramid. The Doctor blows up the missile but falls under Sutekh’s control and is made to transport Scarman to Mars to cut off the signal controlling the prison. The Doctor, freed of Sutekh’s influence, rushes back to Earth and uses the time control from the TARDIS to move the end of the space-time tunnel that Sutekh is travelling down into the far future where, unable to reach the end, Sutekh ages to death.

      Currently unavailable on Amazon.

Ebay seemed to have a used one sold a couple of years back on 12th July 2011, sold for £29.00.

Sorry I couldn’t be on any help to you.

Sure does look great use as a display piece for displaying action figures 🙂

They could round off the pyramids collections with the servant of sutekh (minus smoking feet) and a sarah jane figure to start some other sets rolling. Also a Daemons set 2 featuring azal and the reverend magister. Shouldn,t be too costly since they already have the delgado head sculpt. they would only need to make minor changes.

Even if I get this, ill still be missing one canonic jar cos I missed the mummy from classic wave 2, which is a bit annoying and I don’t want another mummy.

Thats a great price! If time warrior and sontaran experiment sets are £35 ( 2 figures and deluxe vehicle) then scarman and sutekh( light up eyes remember) and rocket is £35, and then you get 2 force field generator thingymabobs, 2 different canopic jars, coordinate selector and sarcophagus (damn you ancient egyptians with your mad words that are really hard to spell! ) with vortex insert for a fiver!

Oh I am so getting this now. This set looks fantastic, and I’m very glad that there is no 4th Doctor included.

I think one of the things many fan’s have been fed up with is sets always including a Doctor figure. I know that there are variations when it comes to classic and new series Doctor figures, but surely having all the Doctor’s from the old 11 Doctors gift set is enough and just get the enemies themselves as separate releases such as this awesome set.

You can’t have a character set AND an enemy set, because they are ALL characters.

Better to have the enemies and the other characters together.

Sixth Doctor with blue bow Peri or Glitz and MASSIVE robot

Sixth Doctor and Valeyard and Lord Kiv from Mysterious planet

Sixth Doctor sans coat and with blaster, and two Vervoids.
