Thats a lorra lorra boxes prototype Dalek. It brings back a lot of memories seeing all those CO/UT still boxed. I just couldn,t wait to get them out of the packaging myself. I used to collect most of those including those short run 3:75 figures which i thought would sell and run on and on and those micro universe spaceships with the tiny figures. I sold most of my stuff off due to limited space at the time but i wish i,d have hung onto The city of death, Image of the Fendahl and Pyramids of Mars now with Sutekh and his light up eyes. I,ll just have to hope CO repackage them in some form now as they are not easy to get hold of now.

If Prototype did ever decide to sell the full sized Dalek.
The Post and Packing would be abit steep?

An amazing collection, though you have got to be a single man, there’s not woman on the planet would put up with it.

Thanks Korsair!. Lol, I can see what you mean, luckily I do have someone that is actually willing to put up with it which is a very good thing for me that I can keep it all still 🙂

I take it the blue 12″ PE Dalek is a custom. Is it based on anything in particular? I have a collection of solely 12/13″ Daleks and have started customising my own. I recently resprayed a red new paradigm to make the orange Scientist like yours. It seemed bonkers to me that CO never did this. Why release four out of five!

Slightly based on the Big Finish Time Controller Dalek, just without the rings. That’s what I thought as well, never made sense to me so a custom was the only way to get a complete set of 5 rather than 4 and miss one out. I always hope that one day that they might make a 13″ remote control Dalek one day.

Do you have TWO gold chrome movie daleks?! And did you make the 13″ scientist dalek? I’ve always wanted them to release one of them!

No but I WISH, just happens the Dalek appeared in 2 photos. No the Scientist was actually a custom a mate made for me. He’s does customs Daleks (any design/colour) now as a side job, even does requests as well for people.

I wish I had ONE! 🙂 How much would it cost for him to do a Scientist custom? As I do have a spare 13″ paradigm dalek!

      April 6th, 2016 - 4:06pm

It is a wonderful item 🙂 If you gave him that Dalek to custom maybe about £90-£110?

I don’t have that much money at the minute but how did you upload your collection to this website? As I have quite a collection of daleks myself and would like to put it on the site!

Hi again, the spare Paradigm Dalek that I have is a one that I previously painted quite a few years ago, when trying to get the paint off I think I’ve took some of the original paint off from the grey middle section and some of the paint is just hard to get off. So I’m wondering did your friend who made your custom scientist just paint the orange parts or the entire thing? Thanks.

    • prototype dalek

      April 17th, 2016 - 9:28am

As it was a supreme before he took all the dalek apart he’d spray paint all the white bits at the same time and left all the grey parts as they were so yes it was just the orange parts he did.

      April 8th, 2016 - 8:53pm

Well that is cheap for a life size Dalek as I’ve seen some for £10,000+ but it’s still expensive, and I’m not sure what I would do with it, but if I get a job and earn lots of money, I’ll see, but it’s probably unlikely, lol.

      April 8th, 2016 - 9:45pm

I know that’s why I just had to get it because it was as cheap as it was. I’m sure you will, took me 10 long years, lol.

Wow, it’s like a museum of Daleks. I love your collection. What is the clear see through Dalek in the middle of the photo with your vintage toy Daleks from? Is it from the 3rd Dr twin pack and you’ve removed the black paint making it totally clear?

Arc? Never heard of it. I’ll have to keep an eye out for one on eBay. I’m loving the prototype 5″ Daleks you’ve got. I remember seeing them on eBay and was seriously considering getting one. I’m glad they went to a good home and a truely passionate collector.

Yeah they do lots of different types including blue and red ones, their is one now on eBay actually. Thanks. I was unsure too but I’m glad I got them in the end. They will be with me for a very long time and they will always be kept together and displayed together.

Thanks Docfan2000. Some go quite well together because the size is similar like the Daleks. The one in the photo is missy in the black dress but I do have the other as well in the purple, its just somewhere.
