12th Doctor, Clara Oswald / Missy in LEGO Dimensions

From Entertainment Weekly

It’s a fan-fiction writer’s dream come true—provided that dream is built entirely from Legos. The franchise-mashing Lego Dimensions, due this fall, will bring together some of pop culture’s most beloved characters, everyone from Superman to Gandalf to Back to the Future’s Doc Brown. And for a game spanning so many different worlds, it’s only fitting that a spacefaring time traveler would be among the cast, transported here by a Jurassic World dinosaur.

“We love these characters and these worlds, so we take great pleasure in imagining how they will interact,” says Mark Warburton, associate producer at developer TT Games.

No less an interstellar figure than Doctor Who’s eponymous Time Lord himself will be a playable character in the upcoming title, adventuring alongside the likes of Batman, Scooby-Doo, and Homer Simpson. The twelfth and current actor to play the role in the main series, Peter Capaldi, will lend his voice to the character in Dimensions, as will his co-stars Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez, who will reprise their roles as Clara Oswald and Missy, respectively.

From The BBC..

We’re delighted to confirm there’ll be even more ways to enjoy the world of Doctor Who very soon! That’s because iconic elements from the Doctor’s universe will be included in LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical brick building with interactive console gameplay.

An official instruction booklet for LEGO® Dimensions shows that Doctor Who Characters will be included in the toys-to-life project. The 12th Doctor, Tardis and K9 are shown in the booklet.

A Doctor Who Lego set based on the Lego ideas entry should also be released later this year.

The game brings together different “universes” including The LEGO Movie, Portal 2, Scooby Doo, Jurassic World, The Simpsons, Back to the Future, The Lord of the Rings, LEGO Ninjago, The Wizard of Oz and many more.

I’ve seen a video of the 8th entering the War Doc’s style TARDIS but I’ve also seen two different variations of the 4th Doctor’s control room.

The TV Movie TARDIS and theme tune don’t appear apparently. I would assume it has something to do with rights issues. LEGO have the rights to the show – not the movie clearly .

In this video the 8th Doctor yields the 10th Doctor Console Room, which was already there.

I managed to find a video with more gameplay, and can confirm that the 10th Doctor has his console, and the 11th also has his original console, meaning it’s different to the 12th’s. Also, in the War Doctor’s TARDIS, you can actually build the Moment from the 50th anniversary. When used, it triggered a cutscene, but the video ended, so I don’t know what actually happens. What I do know is that Lego is going to take every last bit of my money this September 😛

The game WILL contain all 13 Doctors and their respective TARDIS’. This is great news! Just seen footage of LEGO Hartnell running around his TARDIS holding his lapels… Adorable and amazing!

yeah, that was on the Doctor Who Fan Show with Capaldi himself playing it, even more impressive is the nature that they have Bill Hartnell’s TARDIS scenes in Black and White just like the show! Hopefully they’ll do the same for Pat Troughton’s and only go colour when Jon Pertwee’s Doctor hits (I’d say probably Frontier in Space/Planet of the Daleks – Planet of the Spiders interior as The 3rd Doctor was on exile for 1/3 of his time and had numerous TARDIS interiors before he got it working again…
