The Angels Take Manhattan set looks more common than the Hide set, but the latter is definitely available.

So my two cents on this, R-Liningless Figure has a better head sculpt, fits with Capaldi’s serious Doctor as it takes away the smile and goofy raised eyebrow (plus the shorter hair which is more accurate). But I still prefer the body which has the red lining showing, because I think that looks a lot cooler. But eh even though I like the red lining a lot I’m fine with the lining-less figure as a whole, it looks pretty great, would be nice to get a Costumed Capaldi before DW starts.

    July 26th, 2014 - 5:36pm

I dont have any of these yet but it looks like Amy’s skirt got shorter. 10ths TARDIS looks more like the War Doctors and 10th Tie horrible its just a dark red tie with blue spots on it. Also 10ths TARDIS looks more like a money bank.

It doesn’t say exclusive in the Argos catalogue, and I doubt it will be exclusive to Forbidden Planet anyway, since a lot of fan’s here in the UK either don’t go to a Forbidden Planet shop like most of us do, or don’t have one near enough to them and don’t want to end up making long Journey’s to one.

For example, I live in Ilford and I have to travel by train to get to the Forbidden Planet mega-store on Shaftsbury Avenue.

An old, starved Steven Moffat, yes.

You know – if they combined the two Capaldi head sculpts – they would easily get something that is right. The original one is too cartoon-y and the new one… looks realistic, but not like Capaldi. Well… I can see the likeness but at the same time it’s not there.

Am I making sense? No. Probably not.

The second image of the 12th Doctor (the one without the red lining) is incredible badly photoshopped. Like, it’s not good at all. Why can’t they show just the image of the figure?

Sorry but I feel soooooo sorrrrrryy for Peter Capaldi for have such a rubbish action figure in this 3.75″ size. It’s so terrible and only a three-year old child will get a thrill from it.

Hopefully, CO will have the temerity and professionalism to produce a more accurate 5″ format action figure.

    Capaldi deserves better.

Even my six-year old Son says that this ‘sculpt’ is rubbish and will not NAY of the 3.75 range.

…Capaldi has the best figure from all of the 3.75 waves so far, his likeness has been the best. I personally can’t wait for the version with his costume to be released, be it the red lining version or not. I want people to stop whining about the 5inch figures and saying the 3.75 figures are the worst pieces of junk in the world when quite frankly they aren’t.
