Bought these earlier this year. Well worth the money (£7.99 each at the moment & free p+p if you spend over £10)) and they include all the special features. I had a couple of the stories already but still worth the price.

I got this yesterday for £7.20, a great bargain for the price! To answer a few concerns I’ve seen on the thread, the stories are simply re-releases of the existing versions in a new box, so they’re all in individual cases, original artwork, leaflets, etc. and they all have special features too. Excitingly, despite the original being advertised on the box, Spearhead is the special edition! The Daemons is a 2 Disc-er too, so fantastic value for money!

Just a pity it’s the original release of Spearhead from Space, rather than the remastered version.

Are these just online exclusives or can you get them from a HMV store? I’m guessing online only by the description?

Loving the cover art on these. Hopefully this is a step closer to season boxsets.

You could still buy the german release of season 22 till 26 they have most, if not all of the special features and english subtitles and audio.

I really want to get this as it’s only £15 and I’m a Pertwee fan. Plus I haven’t seen the daemons or the time warrior and I love spearhead.

I’m guessing that there won’t be any extras on these discs like there are on the individual story dvd. Nevertheless this is still a cracking good way to introduce yourself to the wonderful Jon Pertwee as the 3rd Doctor. The stories here are all top drawer and feature all three of his companions, Liz Shaw (Caroline John), Jo Grant (Katy Manning), and Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen). It doesn’t get much better than this. x

When it says episodes I assume it means stories. (The run time seems to indicate such)

    Good choices.

So are these just selected episodes or is there a documentary about the 3rd Doctor?

These really aren’t a bad idea at all. Get these, then if you like them buy the actual classic solo copies! Good for anyone unsure if they want to watch [insert Classic Doctor here]’s stories or not.
