IGN The Eternity Clock Preview and Video

Details on The Eternity Clock have been scant to date, but as the launch window approaches BBC Worldwide has opened the doors of the TARDIS to reveal what this side scrolling platformer is all about – and true to form, it’s a lot bigger and more complex on the inside than one might previously have imagined.

It looks like this release may have been pushed back to April.

It’s not being released this week! You’ll have to wait a bit longer.

Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer.

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 10th, 2012

Yes the game is only downloadable but I believe there is a small fee you have to pay.

    • Posted by: Mels March 11th, 2012

      Price is still unconfirmed. >_<

    • Posted by: Mels March 11th, 2012

Apparently release date isn’t officially confirmed yet either (just ‘sometime’ in March), despite many sites saying the 14th.

This looks two times better than the adventure games in terms of graphics and mechanics (e.g use the sonic screwdriver for clues)

    • Posted by: Mels March 10th, 2012

I don’t think we know yet how the pc version will be distributed. Probably a online gaming store such as Steam or Gamefly.

i googled it and it said that

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 11th, 2012

      where did it say that?

  10. Posted by: Nicholas March 8th, 2012 Reply

I’m annoyed. I am having problems with my PSN account so I won’t be able to get this straight away

    • Posted by: Mels March 9th, 2012

This looks fantastic. 17 levels and 8-10 hours gameplay is actually very good for a downloadable game (many are only 3 -4 hours).

Especially looking forward to more DLC/levels/games to follow.

    • Posted by: Mels March 9th, 2012

Nicholas, if it’s the ‘error’ code a lot of us are getting trying to log into PSN, hopefully it will get fixed before this is released.

      (It’s a world-wide issue).

    • Posted by: Nicholas March 9th, 2012

      Oh, that’s okay then.

  11. Posted by: cyberman97 March 8th, 2012 Reply

Won’t work on my iPad either but I will check it on the laptop wish it was on xbox though

    • Posted by: Mels March 9th, 2012

It’s a “Flash” video… iPad doesn’t support the format unfortunately.

  15. Posted by: TheMadManWithABox1 March 8th, 2012 Reply

This is the only reason i asked for a PS3 for my B-Day and not an Xbox! I Can’t wait!

  16. Posted by: jamie who March 8th, 2012 Reply

    will it work on wii?

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 8th, 2012

No. Only avalible via Play Station shop

    • Posted by: BOOBOO JR March 8th, 2012

Wii had Return to Earth, DS had Evacuation Earth, so it’s only fair that PS3 Owners get their turn. Though this looks a lot better than the Wii and DS Games.

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 8th, 2012

      Anythings better than those two.

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 14th, 2012

I wouldn’t say anything. Trust me, Top Trumps: Doctor Who for DS is bad. Evacuation Earth is much better than that. For certain.

      apparently it is

  19. Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 8th, 2012 Reply

Really excited for this game! Never downloaded a game from PSN before well, to be honest I hardly go online on PS3 so this should be a fairly new experience for me!

  20. Posted by: Doctorpond393 March 8th, 2012 Reply

Is there any reason the video won’t work on my iPad

    • Posted by: booboo March 8th, 2012

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 8th, 2012

It happens with a lot of iOS devices. If you look it up on Youtube then you might be able to view it.

    • Posted by: The 507th Doctor March 11th, 2012

It doesn’t work on my iPod either! I check everyday but it can’t do it. I’ll do YouTube later then… :(

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 9th, 2012

how do you know? where is your source?

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 9th, 2012

It says it on Wikipedia although to be honest I don’t think it’s true as it would have been used in a lot of trailers and promotional things etc.

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 10th, 2012

oh yeah. I saw that too.

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 10th, 2012

thanks Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010).

    • Posted by: Bow tie of Doom (Causing Doom since 2010) March 10th, 2012

      That’s ok ;)
You may be interested to hear though that Wikipedia have changed the release date back to just March 2012. Looks like it might not be soon then :(

    • Posted by: doctorwhofan27 March 11th, 2012

well it’s gotta be sometime this month. That’s 20 days at the most.
