Genesis of the Daleks Set

Genesis of the Daleks Collector Set

The Time Lords send the Doctor and his companions to the planet Skaro at a point early in its history to stop the development of the Daleks so that they become less of a threat to the Universe. However, Skaro is currently in the grip of a long war of attrition between the Kaleds and the Thals. The Kaleds’ chief scientist, Davros, deformed and crippled by radiation, has been experimenting to discover the final form into which his race will mutate. He has devised a protective travel machine in which they can continue to survive. This is instantly recognised by the Doctor as a Dalek.

Escaping from the bunker where Davros and his Elite are based, the Doctor and Harry persuade the Kaled leaders to put the Dalek experiments on hold. Davros retaliates by conspiring with the Thals to destroy his own people with a rocket. He then activates his Daleks and orders them to wipe out the Thals. Once this is complete the Daleks seize control, killing the remainder of the Elite and ultimately Davros himself. Thal survivors detonate explosives at the entrance to the bunker, sealing the Daleks inside, but for how long?

In this fantastic set from Underground Toys we present Davros and 2 ‘Genesis’ variant Daleks along with the Fourth Doctor in his dufflecoat.

Available to ship in mid-April.

This set is available to pre-order from forbiddenplanet.com or forbiddenplanet.co.uk

To Chubster, this might cool you down, on Whona they say Jo Grant & Gel Guard set and The Brigadier & Omega and possibly been planned. Plus their have been rumours of the Mel and Vervoid set, but also Romana 2 & Sacroth. Most rumours are partially true, so at least one of these companions must be coming! Just wait!

Ohh! So there ARE more companions soon on the way, and YES you are CORRECT IN SAYING most rumours do come true. Believe moi, alot of sets that people mention, DO turn up months later. If there is an Omega set, I would have preferred the other Omega to be honest.

As for a set with the Vervoid, and Melainey Mel, I WOULD definately go for that. And that’s scaroth by the way, though I dont much care for City of DEATH, SUCH A SHOWOFF OF AN EPISODE.

Say, Omega. I hear there’s going to (possibly) be a set with you, and the Brigadier from the story Three Doctors. Why cant there be a set with you from the Arc of Infinity. ❓

Well lets be fair, because I wouldnt be able to buy it if one came out!! (atleast not until Ive saved up and found myself an oppurtunity)

You know, we should really be grateful that character are working away to produce these Additional Dalek sets

Your right. And plus Character Options have all of the time in the world to make sets like the Terror of the Vervoids one.

Well chubster, Im very sorry to hear youre not going with the flow of things. You know, we should really be grateful that character are working away to produce these Additional Dalek sets, so that us buyers can choose from the bigger range of choices. 😎
I myself, will have to actually go for THIS very set first. I WAS saving the cash for that first Davros set, with the Terry Molloy Davros, which I actually REALLY WANT and I want it more than any other sets. But what the Jek, get this one next, I just cant pass on the 4th Doctor. 😮

Like I’ve said before, way to many Daleks and 4th Doctor variants, what about the Time Warrior set what’s been seen on ebay, and what about the rumoured Terror of the Vervoids set: with Mel and Vervoid – a possible new companion pack, we need companions and new monsters not Daleks, Daleks, Daleks, I will not to buying any of these latest Dalek sets 😡

Anyone like the idea of a Classic Davros Figure Set ?. It could come with Davros in his Imperial Emperor Dalek Casing as a kind of bonus figure.

Probably could be called ” Doctor Who – Evolution of Davros Gift Set “, thou that would probably mean including the New Series Davros as well perhaps.

A set with the different variations of Davros including the remembrance version would have been far better… the daleks could have been sold off in the classic dalek sets which were far better…and the glass revelation dalek could have been included.

Im sorry but these sets just reek of milking fans too much.

The set is getting like those appalling mass produced daleks that you could buy in woolworths in the 1960s…difference is they were tuppence a time……

He did wear it mostly in the episode. But then if they did that, it’s the sixth (or so) time that figure of the Doctor has been released. We mostly prefer this one, its cool. :p

Oh awesome, I thought they might be making this very set. And I was proven right! The Doctor in that overcoat again, great! But Im getting the Peter Davison set, no other priorities will stop that.

But in the mean time, this supposed Destiny of the Daleks set is one to look at! I might get that aswell!

What, WHY DID I SAY THAT?!! I hate the Destiny set, its got a bad Doctor!! (and an awesome Davros and Dalek figures, but still a terrible Doctor).

Slash that plan, Im actually going for the Revelation and Genesis sets, the other figures (the Dalek Supreme aswell as the Fifth Doctor from the Ressurection set) can be bought of febay, for a dozen pounds and no less. ❗
