I only collect the Dalek’s & Cybermen from the collection myself but I might have to make an exception for this one…, it does look pretty cool. 🙂

No image yet. In fact, I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been sculpted yet. They’re still talking about reference pics for it.

What would be the point in that? You’d only have a limited selection and there are already far better routes to get your wishlists to them.

I asked him on Twitter last year if this would be a special and he hinted it would be; nice to get confirmation 🙂

I’m intrigued as to how this will be made. Will it be more of a bust due to the sheer size of it? I just cannot imagine the full arms and chains being done, it’d need a sculpted backdrop surely?

I imagine it will be the full character, at about the same size as the previous specials. This is the figurine collection after all not the bust collection.

      January 24th, 2015 - 5:27pm

It won’t be to scale. It will probably be the same size as the Cyberking and K1 specials.

Can’t remember if you see anything of it below the waist in the episode so can’t quite picture it as a figurine…was not overwhelmed by the CGI but painted correctly this could look very good. I have been happy with all the specials so far

Everyone seems excited over the quality of this… only, correct me if I’m wrong, but is this not just a CGI mockup? In which case, of course it will look great. Judgement must be reserved for the actually figure.

I think the story started out as one of Tennants best alas I thought the second episode was a massive disappointment with some very unsavoury comments and activities….the Odd have never achieved full potential…they should bring ’em back as victims of Rani experiments ( especially as she created that giant brain like the one at the centre of the ood ‘gestalt’ )

There was a questionaire put out at launch which suggests they may make the Face of Boe at some point, but when isn’t clear (similarly they might do a Sarah Jane Smith/K-9 twin pack, but with their intentions to release companions in the event of an extension this will probably be held off until that happens).

This looks to be a brilliant figurine. My guess is that this will be about the same size as the Cyber King and K1 specials.
