They’ve put a picture up of a Draconian Prince figure, of course in usual fashion people then asked what issue the Cyber Leader was in rather than the figure we don’t know.

Only been formally confirmed up to 30 (although issues 31 and 32 are on their website) and 35 has been confirmed by the editor.

None of these are the Twelfth Doctor.

Cyberking will be out on the 11th.

Interesting to note he’s also dropped a hint that they are looking at the Beast (who was on the questionnaire as we all know).

My opinion only, but it seems what we have here re: these figurines is almost Emperor’s new clothes syndrome – interesting if others agree- I know many people are ok with this range and enjoy it, but in every example I’ve actually looked at close up, the paintwork has been lousy, inconsistent, lumpy even! “a crude, impassive, unfinished replica” as spoken by a famous Target book author comes to mind 🙂 “Hand painted” as a selling-point is certainly no guarantee of quality whatsoever. but hey perhaps we were spoiled by C.O./Underground!

Well it depends. Personally I feel that these Eaglemoss figures are superior. They are at a smaller scale, yet have the same level of quality, if not more so in some cases as they are avoiding on screen inaccuracies that CO/UT generally aren’t that bothered about.

There are issues with facial similarities, but the size restricts it but the effort is still made.

no 6th doctor figurines or 8th doctor figurines yet ok 8th doctor is hard one do because is only a movie and mini episode but these been lot of 6th doctor episodes i like look this figurine but would liked them first and wondering if there do the 12 doctor range ? or some them there is a limited amount of them 80 issue but from what i can see they can do a lot more as long as these more who they can always be more figurines

They’ve only confirmed the first 32 issues (and issue 35 as well), and bear in mind issue 32 is the first Fifth Doctor figure to get released these thigns can take a while.

They’ll get round to releasing things eventually, it is all a matter of being patient. They have rough plans but things will change, depending on fan demands, new episodes providing Twelfth Doctor characters and of course any hypothetical extensions and special issues.

There are plenty of opportunities for all the Doctors, the best thing to do is to give your suggestions.

Yeah but we’ve hardly touched 1963-1989 figurines yet compared to the 28 2005-2014 figurines that we have…

      1st Doctor: 2
      2nd Doctor: 1
      3rd Doctor: 2
      4th Doctor: 3
      5th Doctor: 0
      6th Doctor: 0
      7th Doctor: 1
      8th Doctor: 0
      War Doctor: 1
      9th Doctor: 3
      10th Doctor: 14
      11th Doctor: 10

It will almost certainly be a movie one anyway so it’s a bit irrelevant.

      August 27th, 2014 - 3:01pm

Actually I just counted through it, out of the announced 30 issues and 4 specials there are indeed 14 Tenth Doctor figures, which goes to 15 if you include the premium Dalek Sec.

Is this in the same scale? I can see the War Doctor, but I never saw the episode so I don’t know if he’s to scale. The reason I didn’t get the CyberKing was because it was not to scale. My OCD doesn’t allow that.

from the picture it looks much bigger in scale than its original size

the robot “grew” so it would have been in scale for a split second

it ended as huge so would probably need to be 2′ tall or something

      How tall is the cyberking?

    • Anonymous

      August 21st, 2014 - 12:08pm

The figure appears to be slightly taller than the TARDIS, although the real thing as we all know towered over London.

Figure 32 is the Cyber Leader from Earthshock (with a single exception we don’t know of any more specifics beyond that).

No idea when they’ll get restocks of 1 and 2 (I don’t even think Eaglemoss are 100%).

Special 3 is out on the 11th of September.

The original intention was to release 10 specials on top of the 80 standard issues, but I don’t know if this is still the case. The first four have all been confirmed now, and the editor has hinted that The Beast is in the works (also they have suggested The Face of Boe and a Sarah/K-9 twin pack)

Wow. That is just awesome. That appears to be almost double the size of a special (TARDIS / Slitheen / Cyberking)figure.

As long as I can get one on my subscription then I am well pleased even if quite some time off yet.

Thanks for reporting it. Best DW news for weeks.
