Dr Who Figurine Collection 11th Dr & Amy Companion Set 1

Take part in Doctor Who’s next adventure with the all-new Doctor Who Companions Set from the Doctor Who Figurine Collection.

First up, it’s Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) with the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith). The Doctor Who figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. Amy and the 11th Doctor are based on their look and wardrobe from the New York City-based adventure ‘The Angels Take Manhattan’, the final regular appearance of Amy Pond in Doctor Who.

The 11th Doctor & Amy Pond Figurine Set comes with a 20-page magazine looking at the companion’s development in the long-running show, with behind-the-scenes info on the relevant story’s production.

Any Doctor Who fan would be mad not to put these in their collection.

I signed up and the answer is no. To be honest eaglemoss are not that good with emails of any type.

Is it just me or has all the merchandise news lately been like the latest Doctor Who series’s where you get hyped up and then eventually dissapointed at the end result? ‘Oh great the new sonic….oh there’s two different versions’, ‘oh brilliant the new Jodie Whittaker figure…..oh there’s still no 5” version’, ‘oh splendid a new doctor who novel about his female companions….oh it’s just a fact book’, ‘oh fantastic the first of the companion sets due tomorrow…..oh they’ve been delayed’

If you pay via Paypal – always.

If you pay by card, most online shops take the money once dispatched. However, as it is in stock and the only postage option is Next Day Delivery, then I suspect the money will be debited within 48hrs of the purchase.

just got a nice call from eaglemoss, to inform me that the comapnions set isn’t out yet. There is an error on their site. So they gave me the option of cancelling or waiting for the order.

They told me the 1st September for release.

    I chose to wait.

Yeah, I thought that. A little annoying being forced to pay for a more expensive service that we dont need or want. However, I suspect thats why they have the 15% off deal, to try and offset that cost. I too thought about waiting but I’d worry it sold out. I actually really recent paying £20+ for this set as a subscriber. I think they should have been part of the collection but I understand Eaglemoss is a business and not our friend – They prey on the weak wills of collectors 😉

They know many subscribers don’t want companions taking up a huge junk of the range so are going with the best option all round.

This way you may get a much wider choice than you would ever have got if it had been part of the collection and can pick and choose.

Put one companion in the subscription and then loads of complaints “its not the one i wanted” where is so and so etc etc etc , that happens enough with monsters as it is.
