Received today and looks good. Pity I still don’t have a display plinth to put it on. When is this going to be sorted out? Fed up with no communication on the matter from Eaglemoss, yet they still happily take my money.

Except it’s not you could say the same for every single Dalek that’s been released or Davros, or all the cybermen variations.

Hmmm. I’m not sure this, or the David Bradley 1st Doctor, is getting the best from this line. It comes across as if they are running out of ideas. My opinion is this isn’t good enough for £16 a month. Instead I would prefer more original ideas such as companions, more Master incarnations, the Monk, the Rani, the Valeyard, the Dream Lord.

I agree, although this one is a vast improvement on the first version, the Second Doctor doesn’t look much different. If we needed a Troughton variant, surely fur coat or Salamander would be a more exciting change?

They may still bring out Salamander as he isn’t a Dr variant…

      What’s the difference?

The differences are tiny due to the era budget. So the 2017 Updated Version has small differences like a slightly smaller Chest Unit and Chest Piece. Other than that most things are the same because they are meant to be the same design and not separate. The reason they look a bit different is because they had to update things in order for it work which hopefully is explained in the magazine released with this.

It’s entirely different, each component is of a different design but whilst retaining the look of the original

It’s still meant to be the same design. The only reason there are Costume differences between the 2 versions is because of the shoe string budget the original was made on. The S10 Mondasian Cybermen are only an update to the original to make them look better from a production perspective.
