I’m really glad they have done this dalek. Personally I prefer them to the Necros Dalek because they had more unique design choices that were different to the renegades for example hexagonal mid section plate, ringed indicator light that didn’t look like old car lamps, a modified manipulator arm that could slot into their consoles so the renegades couldn’t use it and a golden eyestalk. plus unlike the Necros Daleks These ones had shiny golden panels which I felt better suited the role of solar slats. If they do plan to do every dalek the ones they are missing now are Davros in classic kaled chair, Skaro door cutter dalek, dalek with Seismic detector, dalek with electrode unit, glass dalek, renegade dalek drone, dalek Battle computer, assault dalek, time war guard dalek, the genesis ark, dalek Thay (with missing panels), Dalek Jast with syringe arm, Crucible vault dalek, Paradigm scientist Dalek, Paradigm Eternal Dalek, Stone Dalek, Skaro dalek with blue midsection from the witches familiar. Time war pilot dalek, damaged bronze asylum dalek with black midsection and missing orbs, grey dalek with cutting tool. if they want to go deeper into the fandom they could include, Tv-21 golden Emperor, movie red dalek, movie black dalek, Spider dalek, marsh dalek, Eternity circle dalek, Time war scientist, Temporal weapons dalek, Renegade weapons dalek and dalek prime.

Movie daleks won’t be covered as Eaglemoss don’t have the rights. Neither will the Big Finish ones for the same reason.

The mag editor, Neil Corry, did Tweet a few weeks back that they’d just been discussing the possibility of doing the Stone Dalek from Pandorica Opens so you might get that wish granted sooner than later

      February 1st, 2018 - 10:07pm

There’s definitely enough difference – that was a Necros Dalek from the 6th Dr era, this is an Imperial Dalek from the 7th’s.

They did say they’d try and do every variant so I guess we’ll get a little crossover but surely all good in the name of completeness!

The imperial dalek is majorly different. The skirt is more up right, the base has two layers to it, no mesh, solid slats, arm and weapon box different, different arm, hexagonal in between arms, neck different mesh different lights and eye.
