I got a payment plan in the post to issues up to 180 and it was announced that they will do 150 so quite a big contradiction really.

Revived Email from Eagle Moss updating my payment schedule to March 3 2019 looks like we are getting 150 figurines Happy Whovian just now, that date is issue 147 so assuming extends to 150

I’d like to see the Dalek Paradigm will return some day. Steven Moffat seemed unable to produce a Dalek story which concentrated solely on the Daleks so hopefully Chris Chibnall will be able to.

I’d love a civil war between the new Paradigm Daleks who consider themselves superior and the rest of the Daleks. Davros could be captured and held prisoner by the Paradigms and the Dr steps in because the other Daleks have got the dr’s companion who they are going to kill unless the Dr saves Davros.

      September 6th, 2017 - 4:30pm

Oh and the paradigms would have a black coloured ‘Inquisitior’ Dalek questioning Davros. How cool would that be!!!

I wish they had made a 5.5 version of the metallic red drone Dalek.

yes, they sort of did in the asylum toys r us set but it was weathered

    • The Outcast

      September 6th, 2017 - 11:48am

Yeah, I know, I have that set, but I was referring to a non-weathered one. Maybe if they ever do a pure Dalek B&M set they might include that was a variant.

Does anybody else miss the Paradigm Daleks? Metallic colours were better, obviously.

Certainly me! Haven’t seen a single negative comment about them on here, I think if they’d left them people would have warmed to the design.

    • booboo

      September 6th, 2017 - 10:59am

never liked the design if I’m honest but they do look much better in metallic

    • The Outcast

      September 6th, 2017 - 11:23am

I wish they had actually done something with them. Not my favourite designs, but some of the stuff they had planned or that they could have done with the Paradigms would have been awesome. For example, a Civil war between the Paradigms and the children of Davros (e.g the time war Daleks, who would be lead by Davros). That would have been awesome!

I just don’t understand why people were so put off by design alone. That shouldn’t matter, it’s how they’re written, the daleks needed something fresh but people didn’t warm to that for some reason.

You have to admit that is one stunning Dalek, my favourite alongside the metallic blue Strategist. I hope that on the figurine the hump on the back is shorter like the actual props and not just a repaint.

Haha, this is when they were supposedly the “officer class” of Dalek so they’re quite scarce in the parliament. There’s actually a few more dotted around if you look close enough 😉

Yes but there’s still the yellow, orange, blue, normal red & stone versions, plus I think there was a metallic blue version as well but I’m not 100% sure on that one.

    • booboo

      September 5th, 2017 - 11:52am

yes there was so 6 more is possible

    • The Werewolf

      September 5th, 2017 - 12:46pm

Well, with the way you said 4/5 left I thought you just were counting one of each colour. If you’d mentioned 6 left then yes.

    • Jordan Scott

      September 5th, 2017 - 6:51pm

Actually all the remaining Paradigms are:
      Orange Scientist – VOTD
      Blue Strategist – VOTD
Red Drone – VOTD / TPO
Yellow Eternal – VOTD / TPO
      Stone Dalek – TBB
      White Supreme (damaged) – TWORS
      Parliament White Supreme – AOTD
      Parliament Blue Strategist – AOTD

(And then there’s at least two more in the asylum itself but I doubt they would do them unfortunately)

    • booboo

      September 5th, 2017 - 7:06pm

i think the damaged and and Parliament white are a step to far for a range like this

Metallic Blue and Stone possibly just about OK

    • Jordan Scott

      September 5th, 2017 - 9:15pm

You’re probably right booboo, and the other Victory colours could perhaps be released as bonus Daleks. I would love them all but I understand there’s many other figurines that need doing, although the obscure and quirky Daleks are always my favourites!

  • Anonymous

    September 5th, 2017 - 5:55am

Just wondering if their going to do them all (5) because if one comes out as a bonus then I’m scared as Eaglemoss is doing that now I sub to them then they made big figurines Daleks and Cybermen (not for the subscribes) and bonus Daleks which are not connected too seems sometime their trying to hard for the money and leaving their loyal subscribes to dry to me

personally i would rather be given the choice of buying the other colours separately than them take up a fair chunk of how ever many subscription issues may be left

    • Kevin Bunker

      September 5th, 2017 - 2:12pm

Yes, they should be added to the bonus Dalek’s releases really I think, I’d still buy them all but it’d make sense as they are really just repaints.

To be completely honest, this is one of my favourite designs. They were destined to fail after their abominable introduction in Victory, but the design is wonderful. I stopped this collection years ago but might get this one, and I hope they do the Strategist too

I really hope they do this metallic design and not the original it looks so much better and it’ll be the closest we get to a 3.75″ Dalek Drone.
