Figurine Collection Magazine Companion Set #7 13th Doctor + Companions

This new four-figurine set collects together the Thirteenth Doctor and her companions Ryan, Yaz and Graham in our Doctor Who Figurine Collection!

The Thirteenth Doctor & Ryan, Yaz and Graham Figurine Set captures the brave time-travellers as seen in the 2018 Series 11 opener “The Woman Who Fell To Earth”. The Thirteenth Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, is looking at her sonic screwdriver in her iconic grey coat and blue pants. Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole) is standing in a relaxed pose with hands in pockets while Yasmin Khan (Mandip Gill) and Graham O’Brien (Bradley Walsh) stand straight, crossing their arms and looking forward with a smile.

Product Features:

  • All figurines measure approx 9.3-9.7 cm tall
  • Material: Metallic Resin, carefully produced in 1:21 scale
  • Hand-painted for incredible detail
  • Great gift for Doctor Who fans

The Thirteenth Doctor and her companions set includes a 20-page magazine featuring character biographies, classic stories and behind-the-scenes of “The Woman Who Fell To Earth”.

It’s a figurine collection not ship collection or whatever you would class the key to time as I love the TARDIS special 1 tbh dalek gunship even though I like it but that could be separate collection same as

It would be cool to see spin off collections of spin offs of about 30 to 40 figures as they’re more finite collections:

What would that consist of? A woodlouse with a nose gun and those dreadful jumping buttoned up optera. They,ve already said the process of doing a menoptera would be difficult to achieve as well.

Love me a woodlouse with a nose gun… Weren’t there wingless Menoptra mutilated by the Zarbi to prevent them from flying off?

    • The Ergon

      November 1st, 2019 - 4:08pm

There were but its the winged versions that are more iconic. its just a shame we most likely not see them in this collection. Unless Harrop can find the materials and do us a Lovely £90+ version.

Wildlife on Vortis set is a genuinely terrific idea! An Opera, Menoptra, Venom grub & maybe a Dr or Ian if not an animus.

Would love to see a Galaxy 4 set, Rill, Drahvin & Chumblies or one that seems most obvious to me, a Dalek Master Plan Delegates set, who wouldn’t want that?

    My choices would be:
    – the original TARDIS crew
    – Paternoster gang
    – Romana and the Doctor from City of Death
    – the Galactic Alliance from Dalek Masterplan
    – 5th Doctor, Adric, Nyssa and Tegan from Castrovalva

In an ideal world it would be nice to see all the companions released, but if we go for one release per doctor (disregarding past companion packs) it would be cool to see:
    1, Ian, Susan and Barbara
2, Ben and Polly (to coincide with the faceless ones release)
3 (three doctors), liz, jo and Brig (unit set)
    4 (season 12), romana 1 and romana 2
5 (coatless with cricket bat lol), adric, nyssa and tegan
    6 (revelation cape) and peri
7 (brown coat), ace and mel
Don’t know about rights for grace and 8 (movie)
War (perhaps carrying moment in bag) and moment (bad wolf girl)
9 (green or purple jumper), Mickey and Jackie
10 (blue suit), Martha, Donna and Wilf (all were in sontaran strategem and poison sky)
11 (purple or green coat), rory and river
12 (red coat), Clara (face the raven) and nardole
    13- current release

      October 30th, 2019 - 4:33pm

I know but liz and jo were separate seasons too, but it’s a unit set, and romanas 1 and 2 are the same character in different regeneration similar to how eaglemoss released the doctors 1-4, 5- war and 9-12 boxsets, plus clara and nardole are different seasons but both in twice upon a time, and brown coat 7 is not in an episode with ace and mel together

It’s okay, I wasn’t being critical! Actually how would you feel about both romana’s with the two princesses they played as well? So romana 1, strella, astra and romana 2

There is plenty of classic stuff to come, just don’t buy the new series stuff if you don’t like it. The collection caters for everyone and i hope always will.

    • Doctor Stu

      October 30th, 2019 - 11:10am

Then they’d call it the ‘classic Doctor who figurine collection’. It’s better for everyone to have a mix from all eras. I for one hated series 11 for the acting mainly but I’m still looking forward to figurines like the Thijarians, Morax, Recon Dalek etc.

    • Steven

      October 30th, 2019 - 11:35am

I agree to some extent. I have enjoyed collecting up to 130 (as I’m in Australia) but I know that some series 11 figurines are coming so I may become selective about which ones I buy from now on.

    • Jackson Lake

      October 30th, 2019 - 2:02pm

Surely we should be judging the collection on the quality of the figures and how much they resemble the character on-screen? Like some Series 11 monsters look beautiful as models, and I still can believe we’ve got stuff like The Wirrn..at this rate I’m expecting something like a Lazarus creature, Vespirform or the Gelth!

    • Anonymous

      October 30th, 2019 - 2:20pm

I’d like to see more figurines for doctors like the 5th 6th and 7th, latter 4th doctor era, 1st and 2nd ones that aren’t daleks or cybermen etc. That’s why I’m hoping the new companion sets are 4 pack 1st and 5th doctor sets!

A figurine of the Key to Time cube that actually can be pulled apart and put back together would be great (although would all of time and space be threatened).

((I don’t believe there was an actual working 6 piece cube. There are clearly two or three large pieces that were made to fit together in the first stories and then at the end of the season a final cube is made but it is much smaller than what six large pieces would have made.))

This is a really nice looking set and if it sells enough does bode well for further sets such as First and Fifth Doctors companion sets although maybe the cost of four figures at once might be an issue to do it too often. I would still love to see ‘villains and monsters’ sets as well of course.

Re Game of Rassilon pack. You’re talking about £120 minimum. They wouldn’t look like the pieces other than the poses (they’d look better). Are you sure…?

    • Basil Funkenstein

      October 29th, 2019 - 5:58pm

I think we’re all absolutely 100% sure on that Neil.

Also regarding the rumours of an extension of the MAIN collection issues to 200 would you be able to give the collectors on here a bit of an insight into how getting an extension goes? For example if we know up to issue 166 and then are told we’ll be going to issue 200 and then we get to issue 186 and are told we’ll be going to issue 220 how does the process work, is it just an extension in batches of 20 issues or would it get to a poi t where you just pick a set number (for example 240 or 260 issues) and once you reach that point it ends there? Was just curious how it all works.

    • The Ergon

      October 29th, 2019 - 6:24pm

You can,t speak for everyone, not everyone has that sort of money just to splash out on besides a couple more companion sets we,ll have those missing pieces anyway.

    • Neil Corry

      October 29th, 2019 - 9:24pm

To Basil: the simple answer is that there are some clever people who work all this out, with sales figures and formulas so they can calculate future sales. I am not one of the clever people.

    • Neil Corry

      October 29th, 2019 - 9:35pm

I have to agree with Ergon regarding the cost. It would be ten figurines and THIS much work. Yes, it would be a labour of love, but how many people would really want a ten-figurine set based on a story made 36 years ago?

    • Doug Who

      October 29th, 2019 - 11:04pm

Yes I agree the cost of this set would probably count me out plus the fact many of the figures would be versions of characters we already have (or may get in future companion sets).

Also for me there are many other monsters, villains and companions I’d love to see figurines of first too. There seems to be hints of a lot of exciting plans for the collection well into 2020 and I can’t wait to hear about them…

Thanks for keeping us in the loop Neil…it’s very much appreciated.

    • Basil Funkenstein

      October 30th, 2019 - 10:26am

Thanks for the reply to both questions Neil. I think I got a bit overzealous because of how much I adore this collection, as much as I’d love to have a ‘Game of Rassilon Figurine Set’ I understand it would be a bit pricey. Although having said that you could release it in two halves, 5 figures in each box-set maybe? Might make it easier for people. ‍♂️ Or as a special you could do a Five Doctors box-set with the Doctors in their outfits from that story. Richard Hurndall eating a slice of pineapple, a slightly older Pat Troughton in his five doctor costume, Jon Pertwee in whatever that weird tartan look he had for that story was etc etc.

Either way I am very grateful for the work that goes into this collection and am excited to see what is due next year.
