Eleventh Doctor 10” Action Figure With Beard

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

Highly poseable 10″ Action figure of the Eleventh Doctor, features fabric clothing and sonic screwdriver accessory.

When the Eleventh Doctor’s TARDIS crashes into the garden of young Amelia Pond, he is still wearing the remains of the Tenth Doctor’s suit, ripped and raggedy from the damage after the TARDIS control room exploded. After he departs, Amelia grows up, telling her friends about ‘The Raggedy Doctor’, making dolls and puppets of him. When he returns to her life after twelve years, he’s still wearing the same battered clothes but, shortly before facing down the Atraxi, he selects for himself a new outfit, ‘borrowed’ from various lockers at the local hospital. Tweed jacket, bow tie and boots in place, the Eleventh Doctor is now ready to face the future…

So even though the discription of this is ‘talking doll’ it doesnt talk? Also is there one without the beard as that seems kind of random as it was only in one episode and the doctor was in a straightjacket instead of his normal outfit when he had the beard?

the one without the beard was a toys r us exclusive in the UK, this one was generally only available in the USA and certainly not on-line in the UK up until now

i have listed it because it wasn’t available to UK buyers on-line at anywhere near this price.

Matt Smith must be the Doctor with action figures available in the most variety of scales now, mustn’t he? 3.75″ and 5″ CO, 8″ BBP, this figure and the beardless figure in 10″ and the Big Chief figures in !2″. Or are there some Tom figures I’m not aware of? I used to have the talking Tom figure from Product Enterprise, but I can’t remember what the scale was and I’m not sure it counts as an “action” figure.

I got my one at the BBC Doctor Who Festival last year for the same price! Wanted him for a while and he’s a really cool figure.

I would say the only reason to buy the bearded version is so that you can keep it in the packet and then sell it on, years from now. There are less of these available, and if they are unpopular, not many people will bother to save one. So yeah, it’s ugly, but could be worth a fortune in the future.
