Dr Who Figurine Collection #74 The Empty Child

Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.

All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years. This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

It was an alright figurine but I think they chose it just to save time, as it’s tiny compared to the others. plus will they ever do the companions? I know the aliens are more fun but companions play an important role. Also If they’re making small figurines I want a figurine of K9

Further down the line, around issue 150 on their current long term projections (they have no idea if they’ll even make it that long).

I don’t know a K9 figurine would be very small and not worth the cover pricemaybe as part of a 2 pack.

When we know somebody will post it, you are asking the wrong people if you want new information.

Issue 80 is the Wheel in Space Cyberman, that’s the last issue we know of, we have no idea what is coming after that beside vague hints.

I’ll admit good figure…still dominated by nu Who stuff though !! many more classic figures needed and sets desperately need completeing…ie an axon monster to go with the axon man…a dominator to go with the quark…yeti syill desperately needs to be added to the set as does the Tom Controller and a Wheel in space cyberman… Web Planet badly under represented as are many Hartnell and Troughtons and where are the Sil, the Borad and the Valeyard from Colins era and the Tractors and the Gravis from Peters ??
