All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.

Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.

The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years. This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

Was any information on the £1 price increase for the Figurine Collection mentioned in this Issue’s Magazine or previously?

Non-subscribers received a note written in much the same style as the note about the delayed Emperor and Dalek Plinth which ‘apologised’ for increasing the price, and yes it was issue 44 that the note appeared I think.

Mine arrived today, both looked good but not stunning…hands are a little large on Cyberman and seems a little to white, Knight is pretty good although face is a little lacking in detail

I think they tried really hard with this one – it’s worked (mostly) – you kinda get used to the size of the hands

I hope if and when Harrops get around to producing the Tenth Planet cyberman they cna persuaded to have him holding the weapon – it’d make the figure so much more impressive…..

This is okay but it seems to me that the classic figures dont seem to have had as much thought and effort put in as the new who figures…..

it doesn’t quite work but its actually quite impressive what they have tried to do here with the cyberman for the cost

the chest pack is clear plastic with internal detail, not sure how they have achieved that plus separate pipe work all attached to the body and chest plate

they have clearly had to put a lot more into it than most figures

looks like far moper work has gone into this that most of the new series stuff

This figurine is one of the stand-outs of the collection in my opinion – so much effort seems to have gone into making it. It’s one of my least favourite Cyberman designs but one of the best in the collection. It looks much better than the Robot Knight figurine and quite a few others besides.

Apart from the VERY white paint job, this looks terrific.

This one was a bit of let down for me (first one in a long while though). Its a bit too white and the change from cloth face to silver suit at the neck is too subtle making the neck look particularly bad. The hands really are too big as the person below says.

this looks like a difficult figure for them

I’m wondering if the hands had to be as big as they are as to not make contraption they are holding to delicate, there are also several separately moulded bits by the look of it

Its not one of the best no but I’m wondering if they had to compromise a little to get it made well enough at this scale

Possibly. Personally I’d take the risk and see whether people think it is too delicate, I just find it unnerving how big they are! But I can see where your coming from with compromise, they must have to do a lot of that working with these tiny figures.

I think the reason the hands are so big is because it was modelled off the glove-wearing look, but they then decided it should be human skin and repainted them, leaving the hands the same size and thus looking oversized.

Personally, this really doesn’t impress me. The paint seems too light and doesn’t look like it has been very well applied, the face is too small and yet, why are his hand SO BIG? As these are my favourite Cybermen, I’m extremely disappointed.
