Received mine just in time for the finale tonight! Really don’t think this figurine looks bad at all, and she looks fab next to all the previous Doctor figurines!

Incidently the New Years Episode is called ‘Resolution’. And bad news for Jodie Haters because she,s back for season 12, apparently chris Chibnall has a 5 year plan. The figurine for jodie looks so-so.

Just got it this second from the postman – it looks probably as good as it’s going to get, bearing in mind the size it is – it is instantly recognisable as the 13th doctor 🙂

Actually I think it’s one of their better “human” face sculpts. The photo doesn’t do it justice so I was pleasantly suprised to see it in the hand.

agree with you there, its looks pretty good against some of the earlier figurines on the shelf, the photos tend to be bigger than the figures and you loose the depth, I have found virtually everything looks better in hand.

I think the sculpting is fine, it’s just the paintwork that lets things down a bit. Always going to be a bit variable when it comes to human faces. Most of the time they’ll look ok even though they’re nothing like the actual actor themselves.

Unless both sculpting and paintwork are absolutely spot on then people – including me – will feel disappointed.

Plan B – if the sculpt is ok then find a talented miniatures gaming figure painter and enlist their services – or develop the painting skills and patience ourselves.
