Ultra Rare Dalek Prototype (ebay listing)

Ever wondered what figures look like when the moulds are first “tested”…

Classic dalek prototype/first shot.

All toys go through a first shot phase, this is where it is run in the new moulds with any colour plastic the factory has to hand. This is to test the fit and the detail of the mould. First shots are very rare and very sought after by collectors who know their stuff.

Bid now to secure your chance to get this amazing figure.

You can see the listing at www.ebay.co.uk

Actually thinking about it while you say thats a genuine item …how do you know…The ebay listing has nothing to say where its come from or how its got to be up for sale no cerificate of authenticity nothing…Unless you actually work for the company or got additional info from the eprson who listed it which convinced you…

because i have followed this seller for months and so have many other people

they have sold numerous pre production figures in the same style, not just Daleks but monsters and companions

the items are exactly how the moulds are tested to see if everything “fits” and people who buy them would know that

they have had the 3.75″chase figures before they came to market and other items

only someone connected to the trade could have access to such items

just look at the sellers feedback and you can see for yourself the items that have been previously sold

you don’t have to Doctor Who fan, you might just collect one off’s or prototypes or test samples or just want something no one else has

happens across all sections of collecting

people pay millions for paintings that other people wouldn’t give wall space

      each to their own

That is a little steep for a figure that only came out about five years ago. If anything I would sell it for the price of each individual figure that the parts came with so I would say about £40-£50 for the figure.

Nice piece for someone who owns something purely for its rarity. Certainly something to boast about. I wouldn’t get it even if it was a normal figure’s price, but that’s just me.
