Doctor Who: Touched by an Angel (Hardback)

Doctor Who: Touched by an Angel (Hardback) by Jonathan Morris

‘The past is like a foreign country. Nice to visit, but you really wouldn’t want to live there.’

In 2003, Rebecca Whitaker died in a road accident. Her husband Mark is still grieving. He receives a battered envelope, posted eight years ago, containing a set of instructions with a simple message: “You can save her.”

As Mark is given the chance to save Rebecca, it’s up to the Doctor, Amy and Rory to save the whole world. Because this time the Weeping Angels are using history itself as a weapon.

A thrilling all-new adventure featuring the Doctor, Amy and Rory, as played by Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill in the spectacular hit series from BBC Television.

256 pages due for release on 23/06/2011

This book, it’s amazing! I think that even a non-Whovian would enjoy it. It’s just written so perfectly and so well! Love it!

They’re both great, but this is by far the better of the two. Arguably the most popular NSA book. 🙂

I bought this book nearly a month ago when I went in my Motor home [Really, it’s bloody huge!] in Girvan. I bought it from WHSmiths at standard RRP. I went home that night and I read the first four chapters. I was annoyed as my fellow siblings wanted to go to the park; as did my Mum and Dad. So I missed out on valuable reading time! It’s sad to say that I literally finished the book that night! It’s scary, freaky, sad, emotional, fast-paced, time-wimey and heartbreaking. The Weeping Angels were pushed to a brand new level; one that I’d love to see on the TV. This is, BY FAR, the best Dr Who book that’s been released since the 2005 reboot.
