I was very skeptical when I first heard that Titan were releasing comics for the Ninth Doctor. Christopher Eccleston is a fine Doctor, but I really don’t think there’s scope to explore his era much further than what we see on television. I get a nice, self-contained feel from his run and I am all for one of the Doctor’s incarnations being short lived.

With this in mind, I’m glad that Titan are just doing a one-off five part series, so just one story from the Ninth Doctor.

Excellent! Eccleston was brilliant. I hope they start to use even older Doctors, but I doubt that would happen. I’d love to see some Paul McGann.

Can we expect a short War Doctor comic series then? That would be good and he is part of the 10 years!
