Is that Dalek figure going to be posable ?

It looks like one of those old dalek keyrings where you could only swivel the head.

The Dalek figure looks like it has the same articulation as its 5 inch counterpart.

      It should feature
      Ball jointed plunger arm.
      Ball jointed whisk gun arm.
      Ball hinged eye stalk.
      Swivel head.

I live in the hope that these new figures are really unsuccessful and character options go back to “5, I mean the there is no detail on these figures at all!

      April 26th, 2013 - 7:16am

I don’t particularly want them to be unsuccessful, as these are cool. But I would prefer these sets in 5″.

I know clara is short, but 1.25″ shorter? She would be up to his arm if you compared it to 5″.

    • Jack

      April 26th, 2013 - 7:53am

They are not going to go back to 5” figures so don’t hold your breath

    • booboo

      April 26th, 2013 - 7:53am

they wont go back to 5″ as that line was already dead in the big retailers eye’s

If you get your wish the it could well be the end of Doctor Who figures which is rather unfair on those who are quite happy to buy them.

    • Da Big Friendly Button

      May 4th, 2013 - 10:52am

I agree the 5 inch figures have lost interest among people so there is not really any point on continuing something that no one will buy.
If the new line did not go down well, i do not think they will go back the the 5 inch figures anyway.
These now figures will be more affordable for the younger generation of who fans.

      May 6th, 2013 - 8:06pm

If the new scale doesn’t work out, then there will be no more Doctor Who figures, at least from character, and you don’t know if someone else will produce DW figures at all, and even if they do, they could be 3.75 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch, or even 12 inch. Personally, I would’ve either kept them 5 inch or made them 3.75 inch from the beginning, but like it or not, it’s these, or nothing.

There’s no way the aren’t releasing the metallic Paradigm Daleks sometime, because a) They’re Daleks, and Daleks are hard to get wrong, b) The Paradigm Daleks were created to become immortalized in plastic, and c) It’s a brand new variant, and one that would be easy to make rares out of (Mass-produce the Drone and make the Supreme and Strategist rares)

    These are awful.

That’s the biggest lie I have ever told. I will definitely be buying these, they look brilliant and for £10, you can’t go wrong. I think when the new Argos catalogue is released, I will be buying all the new figures, sets, and the TARDIS!

      April 25th, 2013 - 10:28pm

But if you want, I guess it could be a modern version of The Dalek Invasion of Earth. I would say The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End, but there aren’t any planets in the sky of the playset, just nano-clouds and Dalek Saucers.
