Doctor Who The Pirate Planet Target Paperback

Available to order in the UK from www.amazon.co.uk

The classic Doctor Who adventure by Douglas Adams

The hugely powerful Key to Time has been split into six segments, all of which have been disguised and hidden throughout time and space. Now the even more powerful White Guardian wants the Doctor to find the pieces.

With the first segment successfully retrieved, the Doctor, Romana and K-9 trace the second segment of the Key to the planet Calufrax. But when they arrive at exactly the right point in space, they find themselves on exactly the wrong planet – Zanak.

Ruled by the mysterious ‘Captain’, Zanak is a happy and prosperous planet. Mostly. If the mines run out of valuable minerals and gems then the Captain merely announces a New Golden Age and they fill up again. It’s an economic miracle – so obviously something’s very wrong…

Loving the cover! City worked well as a cut down version so this should be good as well

Hope it’s a full reprint under the target banner but if it is edited down it should be fine as Goss did an excellent job with the city cut down

The chunky (complete) paperback of this came out 1st Feb 2018. It looks like it will be a Target Version , as BooBoo says, its the same Day,as the Three Targets were Announced.

I assume ,this is confirmation, there will not be any TV Tie-in-novelisations , while the series is back on,also assuming ,its due back on TV in Jan+ rather than next September or Easter.

plus the Sophie Aldred Novel in Feb 2020 (although that might not even be Doctor Who related 😉

They normally print 6 or 7 targets so there could be more to announce. There may well be more new who target books but I doubt they would all be series 12 anyway as there are so many to do. As to the sophie aldred book it is a doctor who novel as it does actually say that in the info released. It states February doctor who novel. I’m just pleased more target are getting done. I just wish it was one or two a month!
