Doctor Who The Eternity Clock First Images
The BBC have released 3 images from The Eternity Clock via their twitter page
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock is being created in full high definition for digital download platforms and is set for release in early 2012, initially on Playstation 3 ®; Playstation Vita ® and PC platforms.
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will immerse gamers in the universe of Doctor Who, allowing them to take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they travel across time and space to save the Earth. Gamers must learn to master the complexities of time travel with exceptional time based game play, changes made in one time will impact another creating multiple possibilities and challenging players to solve puzzles across the centuries.

Why does it have to be a digital download? Won’t the file size be huge???

Good question on the file size… no idea at this point. I’m rather suspecting that it won’t be huge… I don’t think it this will be a particularly lengthy game.
Either way, this has to fit on to a PS Vita memory card… and a lot of people will only have 4G memory cards… so they’ll have to be conservative.
Well. Probably.
We don’t even know the price yet… I guess we’ll find out file size at the same time.
Considering this game is so close to launch, we don’t really have a lot of specific info. >_<

The Hd’s not why people who hate the ds and wii games like this. It’s the gameplay. Honestly, I love the ds one. Never played the wii one so can’t really say about that.

I hear it’s a download-only game so we might get it available on Xbox live market place.

not unless the BBC complain, but they can do that at anytime anyway, there are no copyright articles or pictures of anyone else’s on this site that i am aware of unless they are official or via press releases or come under the fair use policy.
I can see why they are worried but this mainly effects very large sites an forums that are largely user lead, basically the site is being held responsible for what ever is posted on it and that’s impossible to police on large sites, or may innocently get missed. The entire Wikipedia site for example could become blocked for one indiscretion by a user posting copyrighted info on it.

not sure of the ins and outs but i think part of the issue seems to be sites like google being forced to block so called law breaking sites which might have a knock on effect.
Personally they should spend a bit more time locking up the people who try to sell prescription drugs (and worse) on sites like this. seriously you want to the rubbish we have to deal with.

Yes there will be a fee, but no more than a few pounds, it will eb aviable in the PS Store, and you download it straight onto your PS3, Its very quick (mostly) and you won’t get charged any other charges, only the game cost adn thats it

Silence don’t look so good, but what does it matter ? this game won’t be available for Xbox 360.

The Silence look way better here, would it be cool if character options based their Silence figure on these guys.
I don’t know if the figure would be more accurate through. Also the Dalek Drone is getting more attention in merchandise, than in the actual show.
