Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Standees

Available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk

On November 23rd 2013, Doctor Who turns 50! To commemorate The Doctor’s 50th anniversary, a special range of lifesize cardboard cutouts have been released from the feature length special including the rather scary looking Zygon, past Doctors including 10th Doctor David Tennant and the 8th Doctor Paul McGann. The War Doctor played by none other than legendary British actor John Hurt also makes his debut appearance in cardboard form!

All cutouts are designed to be self supporting and are assembled within seconds. Alternatively it is possible to leave the supports flat and wall mount the standee as you wish. All lifesize standups fold down for easy storage.

I know that this page isn’t bothered with being updated since it’s been some time, but would the Other Doctor 5′ figure, Other/Tenth Doctor’s Screwdriver, and the 3.75′ 50th Anniversary Set count as The Day of the Doctor merchandise since they all use similar themed packaging and have been refered to as “companion pieces” for each other?

I have a feeling that if the secret item is still going ahead it could be a day of the doctor set. With 11th, 10th and war doctors. A dalek and zygon! But probably all in 3 3/4 inch!
