The information below is from the Audio CD release…

Compiled, mastered and produced by Mark Ayres. The cover is newly commissioned from Clay Hickman.

A pioneer in the field of electronic music, Tristram Cary served as a wartime naval officer specialising in radar and electronics. He combined a career at the cutting edge of experimental music with works for cinema (The Ladykillers), television and radio.

Together with Peter Zinovieff and David Cockerell, Cary was one of the founders of EMS, the company behind classic VCS3 and Synthi 100 synthesisers, which he helped design.

The Daleks made their debut in Doctor Who just before Christmas 1963 and Cary’s music was composed to script as a number of atmospheric pieces for specific scenes and situations.

I wonder if they could do a soundtrack of other dalek stories from the 60’s like dalek invasion of earth, the chase, dalek master plan, power of the daleks, or evil of the daleks.

I don’t think much complete Dudley Simpson scores still exist, I know The Sunmakers does so Genesis, pyramids, and death to the daleks are not available..

…and I think there is only about 8 minutes of the invasion music, the 5 Drs and tv movie are more likely though.

Is there anyway to contact Murray Gold. No one can ask him about it on Twitter because he’s not been active since 2012/13.

Because while he’s done fine work I’d like for somebody else to have a go. Nothing more than that. Change, my dear.

What is next for this range,
    (Screams Moonbase and Daleks Masterplan)
Might just stick with an ITunes release for now

I looked up the CD on Amazon and it said ‘temporarily out of stock’. This usually means it’s gone for good. Are the CD’s sold out already?
