In the peaceful village of Devil’s End something very strange is happening. A professor is preparing to open a nearby burial mound and a local white has foresees death and disaster. Meanwhile, the new vicar looks suspiciously like the Master and he is using black magic to conjure up an ancient Daemon.

This action figure set includes Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, the Master, and a Daemon.

Unless the top secret 50th anniversary stuff will be classics? they could be holding off until then!? and release lots of things all at once, maybe thats why we have only had a few exclusives so far, maybe they not planning to make 50th stuff exclusive?

      April 16th, 2013 - 4:39pm

    • booboo

      April 16th, 2013 - 4:41pm

    • Dalek Smith

      April 16th, 2013 - 4:42pm

They better not change them (shakes fist)

  • McGann is the Doctor

    April 16th, 2013 - 10:36am

Oh what a pleasant surprise ! This is even better than the previous set, I want it !

But to be honest, CO would have been wiser not to have three brigadier sets in a row, should have put the 2nd Sutekh in between ❗

  • Jamie Fletcher

    April 16th, 2013 - 9:57am

I was expecting Bok to be rotoscoped not posable like he appears to be. So we have Axos in July and ‘potentially’ Daemons in August. CO/UT/FP aren’t exactly seeting the world alight with Classic releases this year. I’ve wanted more Pertwee sets but why release them all clumped together? Spread them out a little more, varity is the spice of life.

    • booboo

      April 16th, 2013 - 11:06am

I have no doubt they are clumped together to keep production costs low

same happened with the Tardis sets, Davros sets, Sontaran sets etc etc

switching production lines back and forth would i think just add to the cost

    April 16th, 2013 - 8:25am

Looks good this set, I hope The Master has his Vicar outfit on underneath.
Just wish they would make the Ainley Master in his proper outfit.

    • Skaro

      April 16th, 2013 - 8:29am

Survival box set with Ainley master McCoy doctor hat with unhappy face and Ace?

    • McGann is the Doctor

      April 16th, 2013 - 10:34am

That would be great, but his proper outfit and maybe a jacketless Sixth Doctor from Mark of the Rani and the Rani would be even better.

    • andrew

      April 16th, 2013 - 2:44pm

Inferno set would work ^, include Liz with that, and it also may hint to a long awaited release of Bessie

  • Commander Syjikera

    April 16th, 2013 - 6:59am

personally i think that they should lay off pertwee for a while they’ve done: The Three Doctors, Claws of Axos and now the Daemons, i think we deserve a Tomb of the Cybermen Set, a Series 7 Part 2 5′ set, a Hartnell Monster (other than Daleks or cybermen) set, an Ark in Space set, a Caves of Androzani set with a proper regenration outfit, an Attack of the Cybermen Cybercontroller and Lytton, a Movie Set and a Greatest Show in the Galaxy Set/Curse of Fenric set, but cool set, Bok is too small

    • josh smith

      April 16th, 2013 - 7:31am

      2 pelidon sets with

      1st one:

      jo (in her dress)
      dr who in red jacket
      arturis
      comander izler

      2d set:

sarah jane smith (with sonic lance)
a ice warrior (with the gun)
      agador
      gebek

Commander; couldnt agree with you more! :£

    • McGann is the Doctor

      April 16th, 2013 - 10:40am

It’s wierd they are bringing out all these Pertwee sets and no 3rd Doctor figures ! 🙁 When are they going to make his outfit from Terror of the Autons already, that was the one he wore the most.

Plus I have waited too long for a Silurian set with an allosaurus.

    • auton101

      April 16th, 2013 - 3:04pm

I agree we need more Hartnell and troughton era figures. Plus to be honest they could have done better than the claws of axos set, they could have done the curse or monster of peladon set and finally give us an ice lord.

    • josh smith

      April 16th, 2013 - 4:43pm

60s stuff looks naff we needs more 6th and 7th doctor not 60s

    • booboo

      April 16th, 2013 - 4:44pm

i think those who like the 60’s era would disagree

    • Auton101

      April 18th, 2013 - 4:39pm

No we need more 60s, there has been less sixties figures than any other era, the only things weve had are daleks, cybermen, robomen and ice warriors.

    • Auton101

      April 18th, 2013 - 4:41pm

Not forgetting the 1st and 2nd doctor and mechanoid.

    • McGann is The Doctor

      April 21st, 2013 - 1:30am

I’d have bought that Mechanoid if it had the claws. You forgot the claws, character options !

wow – where did this suddenly spring from. It’s a good one. Shame there’s not a massive Azal to go with it though.

    • eddy

      April 15th, 2013 - 9:37pm

i suppose so, but its better than not getting one at all – lol

    • Big D

      April 17th, 2013 - 5:47pm

Yes I agree. If memory serves me correct, Azal was the Daemon, Bok was the stone gargoyle the master brought to life and yes, he should be bigger. If memory is correct then the pack details are incorrect. Would love to see Azal, Bessie, Benton. Also lets go back a Doctor and have The Abominable Snowmen. How about a couple of assistants sets (similar to the 11 Doctor set)from the classic era, Susan, Barbara, Jamie etc?

  • Matthew Bazza

    April 15th, 2013 - 8:00pm

Should be on FPI’s website today.

  • UDWF1

    April 15th, 2013 - 7:59pm

Another Brigadier and Master? Why? I personally would like an Unearthly Child set with the Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbra. It is the 50th year after all 😀

    • josh smith

      April 15th, 2013 - 8:01pm

because the master is epic. and i cant find him anywhere for a decent price.

    • The Monitor

      April 15th, 2013 - 8:42pm

Sadly it is about cost. An Unearthly set would be three new figures to mould and no imminent perputations market-able thereafter. When I say market, I mean one where they can recover costs and make a profit in line with other ranges.

Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee related sets will probably sell more, classic-wise, than any other era. If CO/UT have picked up on this with their sales figures, this will be their focal era.

    • josh smith

      April 15th, 2013 - 9:03pm

then when people moan about it they swap to colins era so they can get a lot of sales i mean look at the remembrance of the dlaeks set it got soo many sales because we needed them.

  • Still Not Ginger

  • who rules

    April 15th, 2013 - 7:22pm

all very well putting these sets on the site, but i’ve yet to see the other pertwee/brig sets released! fp shop where i live hasn’t had them in and the fp website hasn’t added any of the new sets either.

    • booboo

      April 15th, 2013 - 7:26pm

The 1st set (Three Doctors) is available at FP.co.uk shops and so will the second one be (Axos) when its out and no doubt this set as well.

Its seems the .com FP are no longer doing the classics for whatever reason.

We are however a news site, not a retail site so we will still feature it even if its only available on the Dark side of the moon.

    • cyberman6

      April 15th, 2013 - 7:29pm

    • Scott the Raptor

      April 15th, 2013 - 10:50pm

Tardis’nt – if you have been doing ‘ excellent ‘ at school then begging your parents is about the worst thing you can do. If they think that you deserve a reward I am sure they will get you it.

      April 16th, 2013 - 3:42pm

    “and a Daemon.”

Bit of a mess up there, Bok wasn’t one of the Daemons, that was Azal.

    • Joethewhovian

      April 15th, 2013 - 7:25pm

Yeah the bok was more of Azal’s puppet much like mr sin and greel

    • itdalek

      April 15th, 2013 - 10:14pm

it would be good if they did a second deamons set with the deamon, joe and sargent benton, also they could do using the old bessie prototype do a set with bessie and the 3rd doctor in red!

    • booboo

      April 15th, 2013 - 10:22pm

sadly i dont think we will ever see the likes of Sgt Benton or Mike Yates but i would love them personally
