Well this is confusing. First, Fourth and Fifth Doctor strips? I’m going to take a punt on the stories from the 1994, 1995 and possibly 1996 Yearbooks, maybe with Doctor Who and the Fangs of Time flung in. (I suspect the Seventh Doctor stories from the 1992 and maybe 1993 Yearbooks may be paired with Ground Zero, although at least one of them may also turn up in a future Past Doctors collection with The Man in the Ion Mask et al.)

I didn’t not expect this placement, but it will be a nice addition to my collection. And a nightmare to place chronologically by original print date of the featured strips (which is what I’ve been doing with my entire collection so far).

The other strips were not main strips in the magazine so place it as the last capaldi book.

Ground Zero was preceded by Black Destiny (4th, Sarah, Harry), Operation Proteus (1st, Susan) and The Curse Of The Scarab (5th, Peri) – I’m sure they’ll all be in the Ground Zero collection, whenever it’s announced. In the meantime, I’m really looking forward to seeing which strips are included with The Clockwise War – which was itself a magnificent end to the 12th Dr’s comic chronicles.

This seems a right mish mash-couldn’t they have just made the last Capaldi book a little longer and then publish the miscellaneous Doctor strips in a shorter, cheaper volume?

I really agree. Also what is happening with Ground Zero?

Ground zero was the final part of the threshold series (before the 8th doctor’s run) so I presume it will be in with the 1st, 4th, and I think 5th and 6th doctor stories that preceded it. Can’t remember the titles of those but one was linked to the osirians. I agree it’s a bit of a mish mash this one but I don’t mind as long as we get the reprints.
