      It’s because Terrible Lizard means Tyrannosaurus Rex

      Close but no… “dinosaur” means “terrible lizard”. “Tyrannosaurus Rex” means “King lizard king” (or “Tyrant lizard king” if you prefer, but I do think that Ancient Greek “tyrannos” meant “king” really, and not “tyrant”).
