I grabbed a copy of this at the weekend. Still haven’t got issue two. Frankly, I’m not very impressed with everything.

I really like the squarebound A4 Doctor Who comic, and the US-format feels inferior. However, the next-month page in #3 seems to suggest the squarebound is a wrap-up issue and 10/11/12 will continue in Tales From The Tardis. Most annoyingly, there’s no subscription option for the newer comic, meaning you either take your chances at a local newsagent or have to pay six quid per issue direct from Titan.

No-one at Titan seems bothered about responding to the various forms of communication access. (I’ve asked questions via email, Twitter and Facebook.) It’s all a bit crap, really. It rather makes me want to just give up on all of the Titan Doctor Who stuff, which is a pity given how much I was enjoying the original comic.

Titan’s communications are extremely poor. Currently we have no idea what is happening with either DWC or Tales as Titan REALLY have made a total hash of both Comics? They REALLY do need to get someone in control of both title’s & to organise them correctly.

Subscription for 2.6 just arrived. Squarebound Doctor Who comic is cancelled. Subs will be transferring to TFFT 1.4, which will begin all of the 10/11/12 ‘year two’ stories. (I notice back issues remain available from Titan, albeit at six quid each, for anyone who missed the first few issues of TFFT.)

A pity the A4 comic’s ending. I love the format and the size. But I suspect the US format affords Titan better opportunities for facing in stores.

Thanks for the update. That is typical Titan all over really. I also much preferred the A4 size comic, the tiddly version is just too small & annoying. To be honest Titan have made a total mess of this Comic format in the UK. Not at all impressed but not at all surprised either.

Tried to purchase a copy of #2 but it’s nowhere to be found! In the end I bought it direct. Looks like I’m going to have to do the same with issue #3

I got this today from Arcade News, it’s a great issue. Although, with Year Two for all three Doctors seemingly starting from next issue, it’ll be interesting to see what this means for Doctor Who Comic.

At this point, keeping track of the whereabouts of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor’s comic-strip adventures in DWC and Tales is becoming almost as tough as following some of the Moff’s more convoluted story arcs!

Perhaps Issue 7 of DWC will feature the first issue of the Fourth, Eighth and Ninth Doctor’s now regular strips, but after the endless confusion caused by Titan’s UK branch in the past couple of months with these two parallel magazines, absolutely anything appears to be possible.

Well considering the first issues of the Fourth and Ninth aren’t even released in original American form till April, I wouldn’t get your hopes up 🙁

Yes, it’s all extremely messy. The Doctor Who Comic should have stuck with it’s original start. Doctor’s 10, 11 & 12 every month from the beginning in order & correctly titled & numbered. Everything else with 4, 8 & 9 should have done the same with the Tales From The Tardis Comic.
