Doctor Who: Sylvester McCoy Complete Season Three features four epic adventures traversing a future Britain invaded by inter-dimensional knights, a strange Victorian house haunted by ghosts from Ace s past, an alien world populated by Cheetah People and a 1940s army camp under siege from monstrous vampires.

With guest stars including Nicholas Courtney (Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart), Anthony Ainley (The Master), Jean Marsh, Nicholas Parsons, Anne Reid, Ian Hogg, Sylvia Syms and comedy duo Hale & Pace, this fondly-remembered set of stories saw the end of an era for Doctor Who, and set the stage for its hugely successful revival.

The menu screen on the U.S releases is better than the U.K versions. If I’m scrolling through the menu screen on the Pertwee season 10 U.K release, there is an irritating flicker between each segment selected, so it you scroll through it quickly you get a constant flicker in the picture. Yet on the U.S Pertwee season 4 release. The same menu screen can select a segment without any interruption of the menu screen, and makes it much smoother and better for your eyes.

I still wish that the American versions and its packaging went all out like the U.K. releases. I have bought all these from the U.K. because for basically the same price you get much more. (Some offer photos, PT posters or offer a different way to display the DVD’s, etc. it’s just that little extra touch the U.K. versions give you that just make it perfect. I bought 1 of the UK versions and let me just say… “No thank you…. I’ll pass”! It was just so boring compared to the U.K. version that you almost feel like something is missing. Oh well! I’ll just keep buying from Amazon UK.
