i think these have less extensive booklet’s to the original releases which were more lavish.

Don’t need to get this. Have the standard series four jsut see no point in wasting money. Yeah its tempting but not today.

Glad that it’s a re-release of the original HMV exclusive artwork. I think I’ll hang onto my original HMV release, as it’s autographed by Alex Kingston (River Song), as series 4 was the first time that she appeared on the show. 🙂

Obviously I already have this on DVD but I would buy it again if they’ve sorted out the end cedits for this re-release.

Yeah, I think they should re-do all the credits/titles for all the boxsets so they match each other.

Finally! A DVD release with artwork that is equal to the blu-ray! It is unfair to award people buying the blu-ray with special artwork, and I hope that this is acknowledged by the film industry!

Right, rant over, awesome front cover….

This artwork was actually released on DVD before as a exclusive to HMV.

So your rant about the blu-ray getting it, is redundant.

I really wish they’d done new artwork for series 4 onwards and not just the first 2. Lets them down in my opinion

You’re joking, of course; the boxset increases in economical and sentimental value, as it is now vintage.

The series 4 finale is like the Avengers of Doctor Who.

Agreed! I knew the companions would be returning, but not that the spin-offs would feature. I freaked out so much in the trailer back in ’08!!!
