An exclusive new audio adventure for the Twelfth Doctor, as played on TV by Peter Capaldi. The Doctor arrives on the uninhabited planetoid Quish, famous for having the biggest natural amphitheatre in the galaxy.
The Blitzats Jazz Quartet are playing, but shortly afterwards the planetoid implodes. Everywhere they play they leave a trail of destruction in their wake – someone dies; a city is wiped out; an entire planet vanishes…
But why – and how? The Doctor realises that the answer lies close to home. Duration: 1 hour 10 mins approx.

February 4th, 2017 - 3:42pmSomeone apparently got an email from Silva Screen saying they have no plans at present to release one. Maybe the plan is to wait and do a Series 9 and 10 combo. S9 did recycle a lot of music. Apparently the punch the wall music from Heaven Sent might actually be on the Day of the Doctor soundtrack though I don’t remember it. At this point I’m going on the assumption it’ll be a 9-10 soundtrack like they did for Series 1 and 2.

BMG don’t own the rights to distribute the soundtracks. They only acquired the rights to use the music for commercial practices for various companies. Any soundtrack will still be coming from SilvaScreen. According to SilvaScreen’s Twitter the problem is on the BBC’s end. They haven’t made the music available for them.
And there’s way way way more than enough music for a soundtrack release. The score for Heaven Sent is 100% brand new. The wall piece is just based on a melody from TDOTD.

May 29th, 2017 - 2:55amI recently read that Murray Gold, who’s busy raising a new kid and was busy composing Series 10 music, hasn’t provided anyone with whatever’s needed to release the S9 music. So the BBC haven’t provided SilvaScreen with anything. This is annoying, as I loved the “Heaven Sent” music so much.
