Hes very vocal on brexit, and no doubt upset a lot of people with his political views. Saying a million and a half people are stupid is not a good thing, its not all about xenophobia and immigration although each thing has a knock on effect. Its the austerity cuts as well and extreme poverty. The governments to blame. I agree with peter that cameron shouldn,t have opted for the referendum in the first place, but its the only way cameron and his cronies could entice the public to vote tory as a last desperate act to get in. i think political questions and views should be kept to a minimum and just relate to the programme. Even tom baker managed to reign it in and say what he thought about politicians and brexit with more tact.

The subscribers cover is lovely. Gold on black with the Davison logo. Very retro and harks back to the days when Davison was the Doctor.

Even sports the old – Featuring Britain’s Best Loved Science Fiction Hero – headline that was used back in the 80’s.

Peter Davison. Great man and brilliant Doctor. I consider stories such as ‘Kinda’ , ‘Black Orchid’ , ‘Earthshock’ , ‘Mawdryn Undead’ , ‘Enlightenment’ , ‘The Five Doctors’ , Resurrection of the Daleks’ and ‘The Caves of Androzani’ to be the finest stories from the Davison era. Some of which are even amongst the very best ever!

      Well Frontios is superb…..

Never been that keen on Frontios. I think the Tractators don’t help the story as they are awful. It’s a story I find dull in places to. Only an average 5th Doctor story for me.

Great to see MORE classic Doctors and related stories on the cover of DWM…that’s entirely where my interest is…Doctors 1-8…

Seems it’s the running trend of having candid interviews. You know, the magazines this year are ones we’d probably never had thought would ever be released, as in ever about nine years ago, but now… times have changed a lot since 2008, which was the first time I picked up DWM.
495 was about River joining the 8th Doctor in Big Finish!
496 was about John Hurt on playing the Doctor after joining Big Finish!
497 was about the most honest representation of the TV Movie, ever released!
498 was about the Tenth Doctor and Donna joining Big Finish in honest interviews, again!
499 was about the Target cover after reprints with new covers, with honest interviews, again!
500 was about the history of DWM and the fact it’s reached 500 issues!
501 was Tom Baker’s last and most candid interview!
502 was Steven Moffat’s most candid interview!
503 is Peter Davison’s most candid interview ever!

Presumably, we get the interview with Sylvester McCoy next as he’ll do it for DWM and he’s the only one who would have the candid interview treatment that’s left!

I notice it’s the Awards issue.

You’d think they’d steer clear of Doctor interviews after last time. Lol!

I don’t think it will replace the regular features like the Baker interview did. It will be more like the Pertwee, Colin, Sylvester, McGann, Hurt and Capaldi interviews of the last couple of years.
